1. I got my chin waxed, and part of the sides of my face (I’m Mediterranean, i.e., pretty hairy). It is itchy and bumpy and red and UGLY. Any suggestions to help alleviate that??
2. The lace cap sleeves on my dress are pretty itchy too, uncomfortable. Suggestions?? Anything topical I can apply on my wedding day so I’m not uncomfortable?

Benadryl makes an anti-itch stopping gel that I love!! it does have a faint scent, but if you use it in small amounts it isn’t overpowering and won’t rub off your makeup or leave your skin looking chalky like chalamine lotion does. It works for everything from hives to burns, and bug bites. Anything painful or itchy. Get the extra strength kind. It comes in a clearish-white bottle with a teal cap. I carry it with me all the time!!

Just don’t take the oral benedryl. I’m a complete ditz sometimes and forgot it makes you pass out, well at least it does for me because I rarely take medicine, and I thought I was dying or super sick cause I was too tired to even walk.
Lotion helps me or maybe putting a bandaid right where the lace hits your shoulder if it will blend in enough.

your welcome. Like troubled said, oral Benadryl can make you sleepy, but there are alternatives to that if you want to take something like clariton over the counter. One pill lasts 12 hours and it doesn’t have the same side effects as benadryl. I’m a nurse…I can’t help but hand out info. 😉
