Over the past few days, I have developed lots of small, itchy, scattered red bumps all over my stomach. I called my doctor’s office, and they don’t seem too concerned, but said they will check it out when I have my appointment next week. I haven’t eaten any new foods. I’ve been using Palmer’s cocoa butter lotion for the past few weeks, but I’ve never had a reaction to any type of lotion in the past and these only showed up this week.
Has this happened to anyone before? It doesn’t look like PUPPP, and I am only 9 1/2 weeks. Just trying to figure out what it may be, the itching is driving me crazy!

@awoah82: Are you bloated and could your clothing be rubbing?

@awoah82: I was getting itchy and finding little red squigglies all over my tummy and had been using palmers as well. My sister had the same thing in her second pregnancy and suggested i maybe had dry skin. Ever since then, I’ve been slathering on the palmers in the morning and before bed- no more redness or itchiness! If the itchiness returns, more cream always solves the problem. Aveeno lotion for excema (I don’t actually have excema) is very soothing as well. I’ve been doing this since I was about 22 weeks and am 27 weeks now!

I got little red dots/bumps on my belly at 20 weeks, and then they disappeared after a week. No idea where they came from, but I was on vacation in a hotter climate, AND I was staying in a hostel, so I thought maybe it was the heat and/or little critters in my bed…. but it’s probably those lovely hormones 😀

@awoah82: I’m 20 weeks now and since about 12 weeks I get these things all over my body. I’ve had to use all natural body soap (kinda helps) but besides that make sure your skin is staying moisturized.
