I wish we had gotten a video camera (I know- there is controversy about registering for electronics). But it would have been great to have for our honeymoon.
We only got 2 pans out of the pots and pans we registered for. We still use our Ikea pots, now. I wish I would have registered for less things so that our guests were "forced" to buy those things... for some reason, even though the pots and pans were at teh same price point as our other items, no one really wanted to buy them! I'm really sad, and I don't think we'll really be able to buy that stuff on our own... maybe piece by piece over the next few years!
@rosychicklet: We added a digital camera- but I was very tempted to add a video camera. I think some people wouldn't mind getting it... but I could see my sister thinking we would want it to record some naughty things...
@penguin: Do you think it is better to have fewer things on your registry to make sure you get what you really need?
I haven't had my shower yet, but I would really like to get pots and pans - and and camping gear!
Is more from our Williams Sonoma registry an option? Unfortunately, DH's family doesn't know me well enough to know that I would have preferred kitchen stuff to china for the shower, and most of my family apparently doesn't give on registry. =/
More specifically, I would have LOVED the Le Creuset dutch oven we registered for (and I think DH would have loved the yummy dinners!).
@Penguin -- If it was all at the same price point, why do you think they didn't get it for you? The same thing sort of happened to us; people chose to get us china over pots and pans (same price point). Do you think it's because people saw that as a splurge that you didn't "need?"
k...I'm going to Amazon now to change the like to have/love to have it/need to have its... We really need kitchen supplies, we have a pyrex measuring cup and salt shakers - that's it.

So, I am mulling over my registries. I am trying not to stalk them (although I am- all the time.) I keep adding/removing things.
That being said, what is one this you wish you had gotten? Did you forget to register for something you wish you did or did you ask for something you didn't recieve?
Right now, I REALLY hope I get new sheets and the Kitchen Aid mixer. :)
