Hi, I'm also getting married in Ithaca...you've got great ones listed but a couple more are: Red Newt Winery and Simply Red. Should be able to find both in yellowpages. Serendipity and A Step Above are both pretty pricey, but seem to be top notch professonal. Hope that helps!
S & B catering is great. They catered my parents 40th anniversary party. It was amazing, outdoors at my parents house - my folks live in Camden NY, and their house is in the middle of the woods - They brought a tent, table, chairs and the table settings, and set it all up, had a mobile kitchen that they brought and prepared everything from, the waiters/wwaitress wore tuxedos and prepared a 7 course meal that was amazing and elegant and right out of a movie - five star food in the middle of the woods! They do ice sculputres too - (the ice farm). My brother had their ice sculptures at his wedding. Spectacular. 315-406-4250
good luck!

My aunts friend owns plunkett's fabulous food out of Rochester, she may go to Ithaca.
Where are you getting married in Ithaca? My fiance and I have been talking about getting married at Taughannock Falls.
Good luck!
I work at Cornell and have used Hope's Way for catering and they are amazing. Professional, great to work with and the food is delicious! I recommend them! I think I tried to work with Serendipity once and they were very rude to me, so I never called them back to follow up after the inital call. Maybe somone had a bad day or something though. I really think you should visit Hope's Way cafe and check out their stuff or just call them!
Thanks for the recommendations!
@redhead87: My fiance's family has a summer cottage by ludlowville falls. Has been in his family for 120+ years, so we are having a small, family-only ceremony and reception at the house in July. Taughannock Falls is beautiful...we are thinking about having pictures done there.
another note on serendipity I think they are rather pricey! (From an e-mail in response to my inquiry) Our events range from $70 to $100++ per person with menu, staffing and tableware.
We ended up chosing to go with Corning Catering which is out of Corning, Bill Spaulding is the go to guy there and he is very friendly and versatile. We picked them because they are close to our venue and came highly recommended by our Event Coordinator at the venue.
Catering by David out of the Binghamton area. He will travel. Rock bottom prices and over the top food. Everyone is still raving about our wedding.....because of the meal!!
If you are still looking for a caterer, I would recommend All Occasions Catering. (http://www.rochestercaterer.com/)
They are located in Rochester but they travel.
I photographed a wedding last weekend and they were the caterer. I can't say enough good things about them! The food was delicious, the set-up was really cute, and all the workers went out of their way to be helpful and nice.
Good luck!

Does anyone have recommendations for a good caterer around Ithaca? I've read good reviews for Word of Mouth, but they are not available. We're looking at A Step Above, Serendipity and Hope's Way. Would love any input on these three or any others you recommend. Thanks!
