I absolutely loved Fountainbleu Inn - it just didn't work for me. It would be gorgeous in the Fall! When I toured there this winter, their 2012 schedule was already filling up though. They also have the MOST picturesque chapel next door. I so wish we were able to do that place...there just weren't enough lodging options nearby for our guests.
Also, the Ithaca Farmers Market rents out their facilities for a very reasonable price if you want do more of the planning and organizing yourself.
Six Mile Creek does weddings as well - I just thought they were a little overpriced.
I think the Nature Center also has facilities if you are looking for something more rustic.
We decided on Belhurst - more full-service and lots of hotel options which is what we were looking for. I wish it was al ittle more unique...but it's a friggin castle on a lake, so it's still pretty good.
Good Luck!
I got married in October at Lakewatch Inn http://www.lakewatchinn.com/weddings.html and it was a beautiful ceremony/reception. The woman Nicole is amazing to work with and they had some decorations I used and an archway so I didn't buy much decor. Also they don't charge extra for some things like other venues around here do (plates, linens etc) they include a lot! If you have any q's or want to see some pictures let me know. They have a facebook page you can check out with TONS of pictures, including some of mine!
I got married less than a month ago at the John Joseph Inn (technically, our ceremony was at Sage Chapel on the Cornell campus, but the reception was at the John Joseph Inn), on what turned out to be the hottest day of the summer, and it was fantastic! After looking at LOADS of venues in the Ithaca area (including the Fontainebleu, which is also gorgeous, and the Aurora Inn, which was great, but too pricey), this was far and away our favorite (and we weren't even looking to have an outdoor reception site). All of the staff at the Inn are amazing, the food is awesome (both John and his wife Elizabeth, who is the primary chef, graduated from the Culinary Institute of America), the grounds are stunning, and even allows for fireworks!

Also, if you're looking for other wedding vendors in the area, drop me a line and let me know - I don't live in Ithaca, and so I ended up doing a lot of wedding research, and ended up LOVING each and every one of our vendors. They made wedding planning from afar super easy, and were just wonderful to deal with on the big day.
I am also getting married there John Joseph Inn and agree that they have been so helpful!
