(Closed) itinerary for brides’ maids?

I’m going to do an itenerary and either give it to themat the rehearsal dinner or mail them to them a few weeks ahead of time.  I’ll do the same with  the groomsmen.

Having been a bridesmaid 2 times, I highly recommend giving an itinerary! It helps us know what to do, when, AND what is expected of us. I would have times, locations, and actions on the itinerary.

Anybody have a sample itinerary. I didn’t think of this but it will probably be a very good idea.

I didnt do a full out itinerary.  I just emailed the girls a couple weeks before the wedding letting them know what time the rehearsal and dinner was, when they needed to be over for hair and makeup to start and how we were all getting to the venue.  That was about it.

Yep, i emailed it to them a week in advance and handed them print outs that day. They appreciated it…we’re all nerdy engineers who need plans

I think since I’m only going to have two bridesmaids and they are going to spend the week with me prior to the wedding, I’m not going to do an iternary.  Although it’s a great idea if your wedding party is huge!

I’m planning on giving out an accordion fold itinerary that would fit in a small purse with their gift bags.

i gave my girls (and anyone else involved in the wedding) an itinerary of wedding weekend. i was a bridesmaid a few months before my wedding and not only did i not have a clue what was going on, but the bride didn’t ever want to answer questions because she was too stressed out. i didn’t know where the rd was or that my husband was invited until the night before, when she finally answered my questions. here’s what my itinerary was:

friday 6:00 family dinner

8:00 temple for auf ruf

sat 10;45 mani and pedi

12:00 rehearsal lunch

than off to the venue (we stayed that night) and make the centerpieces

sun 10:30 i have a massage

11:00 hair and makeup comes

12:00 photographer comes

2:30 get dressed

3:00 be in the lobby for pictures

4:00 ketubah signing

4:30 ceremony

i know it seems like a lot, but i’m always curious of what i’ll be doing, so i would appreciate being informed. and even with all of that they still asked lots of questions.

Tha’ts a great idea. I’ve been a briedsmaid in a disorganized/late wedding (I’m organized and follow things to a T) and an itinerary would have been a great help! I don’t plan to have a bridal party, outside of my sister, but if I did, I would certainly do these. 🙂

I have an itinerary, but I’m not handing it out to the bridesmaids. They already know about the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner (Thursday night), and then they’re all staying with me at my parents’ house on the Friday night so we’re all together the morning of the wedding.

I will be giving itineraries to my wedding planner, decor/florist and both mothers. The Mog’s is edited though, since she doesn’t need to have all the vendor information or info about our hair and makeup, since she’s not doing it with us.
