25 in Houston this morning.

I don’t even have a heater other than a wee window unit that spits out mildly warm air. I’ve been sleeping in flannel, under a snuggie, then my sheets and a comforter!

It doesn’t usually get this cold!

Ugh. Tell me about it! Luckily my car is in the shop, so I have an excuse to stay inside all day! 😀

I’m flying to Florida on Thursday and I could not be more sad about this weather!  Not to mention I have to re-figure out everything to pack because I was planning on wearing shorts/tanks/dresses :o(

@Lees: I’m running in the Disneyworld half-marathon.  So even more sad that it starts at 5am and we’re sure to be FREEZING.  I totally planned on just packing some of my summer clothes and now have to re-think everything!

@hotchild I have a friend running in that with her FI! They got there already and have just been having fun at the park. It’s cold here too, but at least it’s supposed to be!

@JoesWifey: That’s awesome!  Unfortunately, I/FI couldn’t get the time off from work to get down there any earlier, so we won’t be arriving until Thursday night….booooo :o(

Sooo cold!!! We had the spinklers on our citrus trees all night and there were icicles all over them. I only own like 2 sweaters, so this sucks. It usually gets this cold, but only like once or twice a year; not a whole freakin’ week long!

The funny thing is, I was at Epcot this weekend and the high was only around 50 (but it was really windy), so everyone from FL was wearing long pants, gloves, scarves and big jackets. There were a bunch of Canadians who were in shorts and flip flops. They all kept telling me this was t-shirt weather. Crazies!

Um. No sympathy here. When I woke up this morning it was 10 below zero here!

Ahhh…Miss Chirpie. That is nuts!!! I just can’t even imagine. The coldest I’ve ever felt was 0 degrees, and all I did was run to the car from the hotel. It was awful!!

hotchild – we drove from Miami to Jacksonville this weekend, and the temp got colder as we went north (duh) but you’ll be pleased to know that it’s still around 50 there, so you can maybe hope for a few more days that it’ll go back up.  In the sun it’s not too bad.  Good luck!
