@troubled-It really helped me. I hate to sound like I am not grateful, but it has taken some time to get used to the idea. I think this was what I needed. We now know that he is moving a lot and to think that soon I will be able to feel him soon is getting me excited.
That's wonderful! There's been a couple posts here under babies that have talked about it not feeling real/bonding for quite awhile. I'm not pregnant but we're thinking about trying soon so it's been nice for me to check out those boards and see what you all are feeling about the process.
That is great! Plus now you can pick out a name and clothes/gear and that will help make it real too!
Congratulations!!! Boys were way under-represented on Weddingbee... Good job bringing the proportion up. (And I feel you on the big year!)

Congrats! I can't imagine all that in one year! We got married in May and are buying our first house (close in a month!) but we only just found out we were pregnant. I think I'd be going crazy. Good luck and enjoy it!

Yay!! Congratulations!! We're having a boy, too, in November! I agree, with all of my kids, finding out the sex made having a baby seem far less abstract!
CONRGATS! i felt the same that... it didnt really feel completely real until i could feel my daughter move nad found the sex out and everything. so i have to ask.. NAMES?
Thanks everyone! @JessicaL-No names yet. We cannot agree as it stands now, but I am sure someday we will be able to choose a name we both like!

We found out today that IT'S A BOY! I have been having a hard time feeling pregnant and the reality of the situtation hasn't really hit me. With everything going on, I have been easily distracted.
This has been a big year for us. Bought a house, wedding in Oct and baby in December. (wedding has been planned for over a year, pregnancy was not planned and an extreme shock) Now the wait is over and hopefully no more surprises this year! :)
