    Girl!

Or at least that was the really educated guess. Baby was very sleepy during the Anatomy scan and DID NOT want to move. And always wanted to cross her legs, or put her hands down there. We got a little shot of the butt cheeks as she made a small kick, and since we didn't see any boy parts, we are 90% sure it's a Girl! haha.

Since baby was not cooperative I have to go back in a few weeks to confirm and get some shots that the doctor missed. = )

wow how exciting! how many weeks are you now? I'm having my anatomy scan at 19 weeks and 3 days and that worries me now because most peopel seem to have theirs at 20 weeks. Will it be too early to get an accurate gender?

@bells: it won't be too early; we got to know the sex at 14 weeks and it was accurate - the ultrasound was actually for something else but baby was quite cooperative and there was no doubt about the sex. I wasn't sure, so I did some research about how soon you can know the sex and it's actually very accurate much earlier than 20 weeks, but for some reason they don't want to take a chance..

    OP: Congrats!! :)

@bells: I had my scan at around 18 weeks (close to 19 weeks). We were able to see his boy parts very well.

Yay for baby girls!  Addie was very modest during her 20 week scan, too.  It's a good thing we were team green, because she really didn't want us to see her lady parts, lol!

@His Barista: Congrats, I was thinking about you today!

Out of curiosity, did you eat/drink before your scan?  I was planning on having a coffee/coke to try to wake the baby up before mine, and I've been sort of banking on that working!

Woo hoo!  Congrats!  Our baby has alwasy been pretty sleepy during ultrasounds, so I'm kind of worried about having the same problem during our anatomy scan.  I'm going to try drinking something sugary beforehand to wake up the little munchkin.

@Quietserenity: Lots of water, a bowl of cereal, and a sugary donut! Wish I had gone the coffee route!

@brittanym526: That's what I really wanted, so I am happy! His grandparents were a little sad because there hasn't been a boy yet. That will be our next try!
