So excited!!! We sent out our invitations yesterday and people have already received them and love them! And I had my first fitting on Sunday, and it was wonderful- I'll try and post about it later.
I can't believe it either! Super excited! Soo...the ring bearer pillow came in the other day and I LOVE it. I ordered it from etsy and it is perfect. My Mrs. hanger is on the way this week! Everything is pretty much done. I have my second fitting in a week. We have already received well over 30 RSVPs...although they have started to dwindle (1 per day now). We just have the little stuff to do now like make the favors/seating placecards which will be votive candles wrapped in vellum.
I'm not technically a January bride, but I am a December 31 bride so I hope I can post here!
I am SO excited! We finalized our menu today, and we are just doing little things now. My first fitting is next Thursday!
Everything is really starting to come together! It's crazy that it's already almost here! I will be finishing up the maps & accommodation cards to put in the invites for my fiance's side (they're all traveling to get here). My side has already been sent out and are starting to come back!! We already have been through 2 of our premarital classes!! My dress will be in within the next couple weeks!! So excited!!
I can't believe it is November!! Holy moly!! In 2 months and 6 days we will be getting married!!!!
I'm feeling a little overwhelmed! But I've gotten a lot done! Our invitations went out TODAY! (YAY!! Can't wait for those RSVPs!!) I had my first dress fitting yesterday. I am meeting with the reception site to finalize menu and room layout and timeline on Thursday.
And November is the month of programs and menu cards! Those are what I hope to get done this month! My FI and I have DIY'ed everything (the invites... designed by moi, the centerpieces, the attendant gifts, signage, etc.) and these are the last real big things to do! Can't wait for the wedding! I just hope I can get everything done in that time!
Hair trial today after work. Make-up trial this Sunday. We have 81 yes RSVPs 7 nos. Bridal Shower next weekend. Still waiting for my dress to come in. Starting to get a little nervous about that. FI is looking at wedding bands. I think he is going to go with Titanium. Need to meet with the priest and organist this month to finalize the ceremony and then work on the program. Need to finish my DIY rehersal dinner invites. Need to put all the sticker labels on the CD favors. Need to DIY menu cards and escort cards. OK - I can feel my blood pressure rising as I type this.
Getting SO excited!! I can't believe that I only have 66 days until it's here. We started out at 444! I'm so ready. I feel really behind seeing what all of you have done lol. My invites are going out next week! I had my bridal shower 2 weeks ago and loved it. I have another shower my church is throwing me this weekend. I have my first fitting next week! All I have left to do is to order a few more little things, finish making my centerpieces, work on programs and that's really it!
I can't wait until the wedding!!
OMG I know!!! It feels like it's just steamrolling ahead! Yikes! I need about 30 extra days tacked on and I'd feel a wee bit less stressed ;)
I'm actually taking a break from putting stamps on our invites, they're going out tomorrow, a week after we intended but that's ok, school has been crazy this month and I just haven't had the time.
My first fitting was Friday, I can't WAIT to see how my dress looks fitted, it's been about a size or two too big since I bought it so now I just have to work out and keep up with it!
We have to order linens, finish our ceremony schedule so I can design/print/assemble programs and we're pretty close to done, thank goodness I did so much ahead of time, I thought I was crazy but sure am glad now!!!
I can't believe we are so close. I remember that this time last year, I had just joined weddingbee as a waiting bee!
Ladies. Woah. In case you were wondering?! We're at less than 50 days. Holy. Crap. How did that happen?! I feel like I'm so unprepared. At the same time I just ant it to happen NOW. HA!
@KansasPrincess11: Lol I know! I looked at my countdown traker and it's almost at 30 days! I am going to wait until Dec. 1 to begin getting excited (all of my vendors will be paid off by then). lol
