perlerose:  it looks a little bit better, but I can’t believe they can’t set the stone strait! I’m sorry. Where is your ring from?

perlerose:  I can certainly understand not wanting to send back your ring. It’s beautiful by the way! I think another jeweler could fix it easily, just do some research on reviews first 🙂

perlerose:  I know how you feel. I’m still waiting, but my SO and I picked out my ring together and the first setting got mauled by the jeweler it was awful. I refused to keep it the way it was and had to pick a new setting entirely. The ring is perfect now, but I was so sick over it!

perlerose:  I think it looks really great! I totally know the feeling of not having an engagement ring for months, since I had problems with my first too. It sucks! Enjoy it for now, and down the road maybe try someone else if you’re really not happy. I’m sure that the average person won’t be able to notice anything is off on the new ring.. it will just be a matter of how long YOU can stand it!

I understand. I had the same issue with my ring. It was crooked so I had it fixed (or so I thought)  When I got it back (again) it was still crooked, just less obvious.  In the end, the quality of workmanship was not what I could live with.

I just got my stone reset and back on my finger after being married since 2012 🙁 – but it was worth the reset.

It was an emotional issue, given the fact that I felt my ering should be perfect. I went back and purchased a setting that (finally) met my needs and I am absolutely over the moon…now.

Personally, I would never settle again. It just got worse for me and it was all that I could see. You have a lovely stone and I do agree it’s an improvement. ((hugs)) I hear ya.
