It took me 7 weeks to hear... Sorry it's frustrating but try to hang in there, and maybe you won't need to reapply. =)
Hi there! We do ask for a 5 week window for application processing, but I will spend today and this weekend making sure that we get one more round of applications out to the committee! :)
I think it is reasonable to give them more time over the holidays, don't you?
You might be seen as high maintenance if you expected the same time frames over the holiday season.
@julies1949: ouch. Sometimes you come off very very harsh. I don't think she's trying to be high maitenence, I'm sure she's just impatient to know, like most of us would be.
I agree there is no need to talk down to people. I am sure the OP is just anxious and excited to hear something

Most definitely am not being high maintenance, just very excited! I know that these things do take time, sometimes my eagerness can be mistaken as being overly-impatient.
I know there are several other girls on the boards who are in the same boat as me, so this post was more looking for encouragement and optimism from those who understand what this process is like :)

Nah, I don't scare that easily :) thank you thank you for being supportive, this is why I love the hive so much! :)

And....I just got my rejection email. Coincidental? I don't know...I'm starting to think I really shot myself in the foot by starting this thread. I'm really bummed right now :(
@mrs_g.mck: I'm so sorry to hear you didn't get selected. Maybe you can reach out to a couple of the current blogging Bees and see if they have any tips for you/things you can work on in the upcoming weeks if you'd like to reapply?

And still no word on my blogger application!
It seems like they've stopped mid-way through the review process, my app was in the same group as Miss Boa and Miss Coyote...they were both accepted a couple of weeks ago, and I still haven't heard.
Honestly, if I'm going to be rejected then fine, but can you hurry up so that I can start counting down the 4 weeks until I can re-apply??
This process is so frustrating.
