since I’ve been on. work has been super busy and the boy is out of town for business. (this time of year is really crazy for him when it comes to business travel.)
still waiting of course.
one of my things I like to do on the weekends when he is home is watch my DVR’d Say Yes to the Dress and Four Weddings shows. It’s my Sunday morning treat to myself. Sometimes he watches. Last weekend he watched some of it with me while he was doing work on the laptop and somehow we got on the subject of bachellor parties and how crazy it was for one of his long time friends and that they will probably do crazy stuff to him since he will be the last one.
it seems like he is getting more and more comfortable and close to asking. i say this because he would NEVER talk about weddings and marriage. it was a big no no because he would feel pressure. the fact he brings up stuff on his own is definately promising.
i’m still feeling christmas.
hope all you other waiting bees are doing okay!

Welcome back- I think those are good signs!

Welcome back 🙂 I just came back myself. Took some time off. Makes waiting easier.

@onelovegal: Great signs that he’s getting more comfortable with the topic! I LOVE Say Yes to the Dress (have about 20 episodes DVR’d as we speak). I watch it so often that my SO has become accustomed to watching with me, and actually enjoys it now. That’s saying A LOT b/c he’s your typical type-A male. It definitely brings about a lot of conversations about weddings and marriage, which I love. Makes him more and more comfortable discussing the topic. He made me promise not to ask him to come dress shopping with me. Haha
Wishing you a Christmas prpposal!

thanks everyone. I’m so glad I’ve found this board. it’s nice to have a place to come to where other bee’s understand. 🙂

My boyfriend is the same way… But then again, I think he likes to watch Four Weddings to look at the different venues.
I left too, for a while, because it made the “waiting easier”, but good luck! I think guys rarely talk about weddings… and when they’re not ready, they run for the hills when a “wedding” type program is on.
I’d take all these as good signs!
