So sorry for your loss :( We have a yorkie named Toby and I would be devastated if anything happened to him. Welcome back though!

Sorry about your kitty. That happened to my 2 year old cat Elvis a few years ago. Thankfully my heart healed and I adopted 2 more cats so I can give them love. I donate to SPCA in memory of Elvis every few months.

Hey Hive!
I accidentally took a leave of absence for the past month because of work and family things. I pulled a lot of overtime hours while on break from school, and also managed to go to Orlando for a few days.
We've had some hard family news all right in a row, which has been difficult. And on Christmas Eve, R and I came home to find our beloved one and a half year old kitty in distress on the bathroom floor, barely able to breathe. We rushed him to the vet only to find out that he had thrown a blood clot, and that he had cardiomyopathy that had gone undetected. We decided to stay with him and say goodbye rather than letting him suffer longer (he was already on oxygen and his back legs were paralyzed) but it was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make.
In happier news, I now have more time to get online, and so it's back to wedding planning and other fun stuff! I want to hear all about what I've missed!
