Me too :

Luckily my whole wedding is indoors but I really wanted to take pictures outside because the hotel makes an amazing backdrop and the lawn is gorgeous.

BUT! We still have 4 days, the weather can change. Stay positive!!

@peachbaby4008:  A wet knot is harder to untie then a dry one 🙂

Rain on your wedding day means good luck with marriage 🙂

@Ninteenthchance:  I have too! But I won’t lie, I’m too cheap and don’t care enough to go out and spend money on umbrellas. Haha.

@classical_wolf:  yup. Us East Coast folks are getting the reminants of Tropical Storm Karen or some crap. Of course, it hasn’t rained in weeks around here…until this week.

@IzzyBear:  Ah – I didn’t realize there was a tropical storm raging around. I’m just glad the tornado warning has dissapeared! Are you still getting lots of rain? We had a bit of rain (heavy at times) yesterday, but it’s currently clear (no rain). We haven’t had rain in weeks either.

Me too, but hopefully it will be either really early, or really late…

@peachbaby4008:  That stinks 🙁  There’s still plenty of time for the weather to change, though.  And if it doesn’t… at the end of the day you’ll still be married!!

AND I can speak from experience–the day of my engagment pictures, it was drizzly and dreary and SO SO gray.  I was disappointed because we had a beautiful location and I was worried it would be lost in the grayness of the weather.  Oddly enough, the pictures came out GORGEOUS!

Best of luck!

@classical_wolf:  yeah, there was a storm near the Gulf that’s gone now but we’re getting the left over pieces of it. So nothing crazy but it did bring rain. Yesterday it rained crazy hard but only for about an hour/2 hours. There was a little drizzle this morning but that’s about it. Right now the forecast for Saturday says “rain and drizzle possible”, but yesterday it was a definite rain…so I’m hoping it will just keep getting better!

@peachbaby4008:  There were heavy thunderstorms on our wedding day, and our outdoor wedding was still amazing!!!! We just had to delay a little & take pictures when the rain stopped 🙂

It thunderstormed and hailed when we were driving to the salon to get hair and makeup done, then it cleared up (still looked like it was going to rain though) and didn’t rain again until 5 pm! My ceremony was at 3 so we got to have it outdoors and then later we even took pics in the rain. Stay positive 🙂
