Every day is cupcake day!

Haha, jk… sort of.

I’m going to Panera with a friend for lunch.  I’ve cooked dinner at home every night this week so I’m getting something delish as a reward.

@okqueenbee:  Every day is treat day for me! Well… kinda. I’m a flexible dieter and I’m bulking… so I kinda need cake/ice cream/chocolate to bump up my calories some days because 3000 calories of healthy food is pretty hard going (and that’s only eating to gain 0.5lb per week).

It isn’t as much fun as it sounds, to be honest. I get guilt about eating so much a lot and I feel heavy and bloated sometimes when I try to be “good”.

@okqueenbee:  I have no idea what I am going to get.  While I love a cupcake, lately anything TOO sweet has been kind of less than amazing to my tummy.  I’m not having food aversions or anything nearly that dramatic, but I’ll probably get a chocolate pastry or a cookie instead.  I know there isn’t any less sugar in those, but there’s no frosting.  Anyway, blah blah blah… I’ll probably get a soup & sandwich combo.  Love grilled cheese & tomato soup!  Maybe I’ll get that 🙂

Good for you!  Last night hubby asked if I wanted to meet at our favorite restaurant after work… I was really good but we overindulged in the drinks a tad…lol  And he got me some chocolate (by request, lol) on his way home.

My jeans feel less tight today though (been prepping for WW and back to the gym every day since Sat) so that is VICTORY!

Enjoy that cupcake girlie!

I’m going to Pizza Hut on Friday for my husband’s birthday and am saving up my calories for that day for it! But my boss gave me some chocolate a couple days ago that I’ve been saving…may have to indulge on the weekend 🙂

okqueenbee:  I have been pseudo following your journey on WW over the past week or so, congrats on the weight loss! I am also really watching my intake and working out, this is week 2 and I’m feeling a tad bit more under control in terms of what I am craving.

Anyways– I found a recipe yesterday for “skinny” WW cupcakes that are 2 points [ disclaimer: I am not on WW, but I stumbled on this site].

Anyways, you just mix 1 box of funfetti cake mix, 1 can of Diet Sprite or Sprite Zero and scoop into a cupcake tray, bake with the directions on the box and let cool. Then for the icing you just mix fat free or less fat Cool Whip and a packet of fat free or sugar free vanilla pudding powder mix together. Total it is about 115 calories per cupcake and equivalent to 2 points, so sounds like it could be helpful in the future when you’re needing a cupcake fix! 🙂

Mrs_Amanda:  I’ve seen those on Pinterest!  I think it’s important to note, that the recipes says to scoop into mini cupcake pans… So two mini cupcakes is 2 WW points.  Also, I read that any combo cake mix and diet soda will work.  Woohoo! 🙂

mrs_pudding_pop:  ah, good point. A friend of mine made a sheet cake with chocolate cake mix and diet coke and it was awesome– tasted like a mix between a brownie and chocolate cake.

Now I am craving something sweet!
