hahahaha 8 cups of ice cream?!?!?! My hubby just downed an entire row of Oreos and then gave me the most pitiful look accompanied by "my tummy hurts." I just keep reminding myself...sometimes having a husband is good practice for becoming a parent ;) Hang in there!
@mrsjustinm2b: That's like when FI tells me the reason he hasn't vaccuumed is because it's too late when he remembers. He only has from 6:30p-10p to do so after I leave for work. He's currently unemployed too. >.< Hang in there.
Is he productive in other ways? Sometimes LOOKING for a job and applying to them can be a very time consuming, daunting process, and can fill the time of a full time job. It's a depressing road because the work that goes into it is almost invisible, with no payout if there aren't any call backs.
I believe there are support forums for unemployed people and those around them. It might help to keep perspective. But I understand your frustration too. I like sleeping in on days when I don't have to be up early to get my responsibilities done. Hang in there.
@mrsjustinm2b: That would frustrate me! Perhaps he needs a "talking to".

LOL!
Gotta love dogs... The MOMENT my FI leaves the apartment, they are all over me to get up and take them out. We have a deal that who ever leaves later takes them out in the mornings. And I take them out when I get home from university.
@mrsjustinm2b: BTW, I LOVE your pic! I am total Whovian!
Speeking of dogs.... Mine just puked on the floor because she didn't chew her kibble >_< Oh, the joy of dogs.....
@ColeandAmyT: Best laugh I've had all day!! Except... I can actually teach my kids to pick up their dirty socks! ;)
@ColeandAmyT: omg...I know, they eat themselves sick and expect sympathy and then he wonders why I wont buy junk alll the time.
I wish he was looking, I asked him what he's applied to after a month and I didnt have to say anything he was so ashamed of the lazy ass he's been. He hasnt even applied to the major companies that I know are hiring right now. He plays video games all.the.time. Its awful.
I told him it wouldnt be long before we cant afford his subscription, because when it comes up for renew I sure wouldnt be handing over my C.C. unless he smartens up. I also had to shine some light on the fact that we will never be able to leave this crappy apt if he doesnt find a job soon and he's the one who is constantly complainging about not owning a place. Way to meet your goals buddy...sigh. Seriously why do I need to point this out to a thirty year old man?
omg, it must be all guys. I made some mac and cheese that upset DHs stomach last night, and today (too rich for him I think). After knowing this, he goes ahead and gets another huge bowl of it... dude.... why??? Or how about being cranky in the morning because he didn't get enough sleep... because he wasn't tired when he should've gone to bed? ugh.
My worst complaint is that we both are full time students, both work, and yet I manage to do ALL the housework. I have to beg on my hands and knees to get him to take out the trash because I utterly loathe taking out the trash. It's like, seriously man? I go to class more, they are much HARDER classes, I have a job, cook, clean, do laundry, and make this little hole in the wall we call our rental house livable. The least you could do is not forget EVERY SINGLE WEEK that the trash needs to be by the road in Thursday morning. Oh and whats better is because is job (driving a school bus) is early, we go to bed at night by 10. Every night. Usually closert to 9. Yet he gets home from work after classes and an afternoon route around 5 PM too tired to do anything but what netflix, while I who also woke up with his alarm at 5:05 AM,sat in class or went to clinical alll day, and worked is still exspected to be cheer-y enough to want to cook. I love him to death, and sometimes it is heavy on the death part. :P He really is wonderful, but his mama did all the housework growing up and he still hasn't learned I am not going to be her.

This morning the dogs were barking at somthing in the hallway and since they were up, of course they have to pee...at 0730. eww. DH is passed out and its my ONE DAY to sleep in and who has to go and let out the dogs? yes, me. Because "I didnt have a good sleep last night, my stomach hurts." I don't suppose it's because you ate about 8 cups of ice cream right before bed do you think? It just makes me even madder since its my day off and he is currently unemployed. grrrrr. I guess its a good thing the dogs woke me though since DH forgot to set an alarm...fml. lmao
