It is finally official – I have my ring! Yes, I have been planning my wedding for the past six months (ok, I’ll be honest, it’s more like a year) but now that I have the ring it seems so much more real and stressful.
I know that he will make whatever I want happen, but I just can’t see us going in to being married broke. So we are trying to find every way we can to make it a fun and happy day without paying out $30 a person.
I’m just excited that now I can say "fiance" and I can plan things without people thinking I’m crazy (ok, they will still think I’m crazy, but at least I have the ring, right?).
So, now the stressful part comes – finding a place, getting it all planned out and having it done by October, November at the latest!
Anyone know of any great places to get married where you can bring in your own food, have drinking and dancing and have it not be a million dollars?? – In the LA/OC area?

How untraditional are you willing to go as far as reception halls? Are you concerned with bringing in your own alcohol? I’ve noticed some places in my neck of the woods (like fire halls and VFW halls) will let you bring your own food, but you have to use their alcohol.

Oh man. I am so excited for everybody getting engaged around here! Probably in part because I know my time is coming sooooon!
Do you have colors and stuff picked out yet? Are you gonna embrace the fall theme or go with something totally different?

Congrats!!! I’ve been "ring stalking" him for some time now, subscribing him for all kinds or jewelry websites, funny! Good luck with the planning though, now comes the funny (and stressful) part.

Congratulations! I’m so happy for you both! I think it’s the most fun part now! No stress though…the timeline for saying "I do" is up to you two!
