Tonight is a rarity for me. Yes, I love wedding planning but I'm rarely at home on a Friday night. Tonight my FI and his fellow gents are away spending a guys night at the camp, I'm taking full advantage :)
@blushingbride1013: Excellent! I am lounging at home by myself tonight, too. I dropped my long distance FI off at the airport this morning so I'm back to living solo. Wish I had something more constructive to do than prowl the boards. lol
We are laying in bed watching Frosty the Snowman and then Frostys Return
My fiance is working and I spent several hours today talking my way into an amazing deal on a new car so I'm rewarding myself with reading weddingbee, watching TV, folding paper flowers for my bouquet and a glass of wine (or 3)!
FI and I are going to a Michael Bolton concert with my parents!!!! We are seriously the youngest ones here! Still waiting for it to start so of course I am perusing the bee!
I'm being mad at DH. I haven't been feeling great and this morning was AWFUL, (Damn Aunt Flo) to the point I nearly called off work. So, DH and I decided that as long as I was feeling ok, we would stay in and put up our first Christmas tree and other decorating. All day I was sooo excited and while I was on break at work DH called to tell me that two of his friends invited themselves over tonight.....so I'm sitting on my bed, eatting left over green beans being mad at DH. He keeps saying he feels really bad...if that's the case, then why not insist his friends not come over!? He told them that I wasn't feeling well and asked if they could do another night or go to somebody else's house, but they are insisting that they come here.....This is probably Aunt Flo talking, but I'm pissed.
End rant.
I'm still recovering from some major surgery, so I'm pretty much at home all of the time right now. I'm lounging on the sofa bed in the living room, while my parents, who are visiting from out of town to help take care of me, are watching TV in the family room, and DH is at the kitchen table playing on his computer.
I am on a plane ride from Chicago back to Boston. I was in Chicago for the holidays. I get so bored I have to pay for internet to keep myself sane when flying alone!
@Brielle: i hope that your surgery wasn't too serious. take it easy as some surgeries can be quite a shock to the system. take care of yourself
Glass of wine--Friday BrideDay (although bridesmaids isn't as good)--weddingbee--another glass of wine--playing dress up with my bands since FI isn't here to tell me not to--another glass of wine. Pajamas, slippers, bra off, doggy snuggles. Unfortunately I'm too lazy to get up and find my camera so you'll have to picture it, but trust me it's dead sexy and also super awesome and cool. :)
We are having Thanksgiving meal #3 :D yesterday I had turkey lunch with my family, then turkey dinner with the in laws (mothers side) and tonight is turkey dinner with the in laws and friends.
I love turkey! So hungry I can smell it finishing up downstairs I'm excited!
Watching 'How to Train Your Dragon' and pinning a ridiculous amount of wedding stuff, even though I am 'single' (no ring). But I love pining and planning. It will make it so much easier later on!

I'm cuddling with my cat, and watching bridal shows on TLC, as well as writing an essay on gender expectations and how it can influence children. I'm all alone, because my FI is still working from Black Friday (he started work at 7 last night, came home at 3:00 for a few hours, and then went back at 9;00, and gets off in an hour)
@cirk: Awwwww me too! Cuddling with my cat I mean. And catching up on Dexter, Homeland and American Horror Story Asylum with my fiancé.
Watching the Five Year Engagement! Gotta say it was just okay, I thought it was funny but I didn't really like the characters or care about them that much?? I did think the ending wedding was set up really awesome though!
Watching a new blu ray on our new blu ray player on our new tv in my new snuggie. It's pretty amazing.

Well I *was* working on my seating chart until my dog decided to help me...

@elysion: i wasn't wowed by that movie either. i was excited to watch it. (it came out the weekend of my wedding) i was mildly disappointed. i agree about the characters.
I don't have a photo, but we are watching Star Trek Voyager, drinking decaf tea, and relaxing with our freshly groomed Kitty cat. :-)
Can I join in even though it is actually Saturday afternoon here, I am watching the cricket with my Dh before we start getting ready to go out for our 2nd Wedding anniversary, we are going to see Jersey Boys!
Lounging in my pjs, eating peppermint ice cream, and watching Netflix. Nothing highly exciting.
