@MsGinkgo:  We have friends coming over tomorrow evening for dinner and then we are off to see a movie with them. We definitely need to clean the house tomorrow, prep dinner, and I will be doing some baking. We also have doggy school this weekend (furbaby is doing great) and are meeting with some wedding vendors. Very busy!

After that, I’m not sure! Sunday I am catching up on homework and then we are going over to my parents’ for dinner. Monday we are having our pumpkin carving party. Fun fun!

Shopping for a new fridge.  We have reason to believe that our fridge is on its last legs.  I found a really good deal on a new one and we’re going to see if we can get some stores to price match.  Hooray, adulthood…

@MsGinkgo:  I get to FINALLY spend some time with my FI and stay over with him tonight and tomorrow night! We haven’t physically slept next to each other since August.

Tomorrow, my friend from school is having a brewfest: her DH loves brewing beer and they’re putting on a fun shin dig to let everyone try 🙂

we’re escaping for a week of fun & well mannered frivolity!!! (Excuse the HP reference, had movie night with FH and soon til be SIL and I have that in my head :P) anyway it’s our second anniversary on Sunday and we’re escaping to the Gold Coast (Queensland) for almost six days at theme parks, the pool and beach. It’s way warmer there than here in Melbourne, we’ve both had some really stressful situations dealing with work/idiot managers lately but we survived & FINALLY got to holiday time :P. It’s been over a year since our last holiday but that was with my family, we really haven’t done any sort of big trip just ourselves yet so I’m super excited to have FH to myself for about 10 days (including the weekend either side).  And yes, we conveniently booked on the second anniversary of our first date! The silly thing was it wasn’t til after we’d booked that it hit us over the head what date it actually was! Lol.

@MsGinkgo:  If they don’t, they can buy some junk at the movie theatre 😛 I haven’t been to a movie in years! I feel like a kid again 😀

Tomorrow we need to blow out our underground sprinkler system so it doesn’t freeze over winter. And pick up my car from getting the winter tires put on the rims. Sunday my mom and I are going to meet with a decorator and then go dress shopping for her! My fiancé is doing a charity run while we do that.

Such a fun weekend plan (and very needed considering our recent house purchase and move has been stress to the max!)

Today I’m cutting out of work just a little early to meet DH at our First Fridays event downtown. A friend of mine is marketing director for a cool design firm, and they’re having an event to celebrate their 10 anniversary. So, in other words, wine and more wine for me tonight.

Then tomorrow we have brunch, an afternoon movie, and a little shopping to do. We’ll probably grab a bottle of wine and Netflix it for the rest of the evening.

Sunday is a whole lotta nothing, which I love. I’m making pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, and we’ll laze around the house and DH will seed/fertilize the lawn before it gets cold. I’ll probably bake up a couple loaves of apple bread as well. mmmmmmmmmmm!
