Yep, as of today, I'm officially a football widow. :) Just kidding - I love this time of year! But our big game will be on Monday night - GO NOLES!
My fiance is such a good guy, he had no interest in college football when I met him and now he's commenting everyones FB status with "Geaux Tigers". I love him. :) :)

Went to the first football game yesterday. Mizzou vs. Illini Arch Rivalry. Even though my team lost, my FI was thrilled that Mizzou won...booo!!! :)

Hmm, I don't think anyone from around the WeddingBee community is a Clemson fan other than me, but I had fun tailgating and going to the game nonetheless! Glad to see other people are into it!

@Tea and FutureMrs. Jewell--yup, we have season tickets. Actually, I haven't missed a home game since 1996! My husband hasn't missed one since 1993! I can't wait until next year, when I get my 100th consecutive home game! :) (Yes, I'm a football nerd).

@Jessie, that's awesome! My Dad has had season tickets since the fall after he graduated in 1968! So needless to say, I've been going to games since I was born! I've been to at least one game every season of my life. Hoping to get back at least one game this fall!
I love all of this U of M talk. I hope to go back next week for the ND game. We looked good enough on Saturday to actually beat ND - both new QBs seem awesome. Go Blue!!

I went to the UK/Miami of Ohio game with FI (go cats!) but my heart was in Oklahoma cheering on the Dawgs!
Haha... I'm from Canada, but my FI is in the US & went to U of Kentucky. I joked about rooting for the Louisville Cardinals & I'm pretty sure he was rethinking our engagement. I'm learning that this is some serious stuff.

@Recessionista, OOOH yeah. It's all people talk about around here. I went to Chik-fil-a today because they had a Labor Day special where if you came in wearing your favorite sports team logo then you got a free Chik-fil-a Sandwich. Every single person in there minus the two cops on lunch had on some sort of college logo. And believe me it was a mad house.
Of course I was the only in LSU gear but whatever :) :)
