I just ordered my birthing pool & birth kit and am officially UBER excited about my upcoming homebirth!

I get to get all my relaxation stuff this week, have started listening to my hypbirth CD's, and have been getting everything deep cleaned so I won't have to worry about it later.

I can't believe that the big day is almost here.... well in a few weeks. =)

Any other moms getting things prepped for their big day? What and How are you preparing?

@amnystik:  I'm a really decent mix of excited/nervous.  I have been freaking out about how much this will change my dog's life.  I look at him and I cry because I feel like he won't understand why I did this to him, and why I wrecked the neat little routine he and I had.

Some of this is hormonal, but I really love that dog.

But my bag is just about ready, I'm working on my birth plan, choosing an announcement and all that stuff.  We still have to get the car seat in the car, but everything else is pretty much set.

I LOVE how excited DH is, he knows what week/day I am almost quicker than I do!

I'm super excited, but also totally freaked out.  DH and I have almost no experience with infants, so I think we're in for a HUGE shock when we bring baby home.  At the same time, we're both getting so excited to meet our little one.  Our house is finally starting to fill up with baby stuff, and that makes it feel so much more real that there will be a new baby so soon!!

I am super excited!! I am 37 weeks TOMORROW. So it could technically be any day now for me. I'm finishing up last minute stuff in the baby's room, just washed all his clothes and put them away.. still gotta wash/prep the cloth diapers though.

I'm packing my diaper bag and birth center bag today too. Very psyched..

I'm still waiting for a few things though... I never got my registry completion coupon from target so I had to call them because there are some things I really need (mostly organizing things for the room - so it COULD wait but I don't want to be organizing after he gets here, but also a trash can for the diapers), and also my arms reach co-sleeper hasn't shipped yet and we ordered it on Saturday! eek better get here soon!

Oh, and my husband needs to fix the changing table. We bought it off craigslist and it needs some stronger support/reinforcements. So he needs to make a trip to home depot ASAP and fix it for me!

I am soo excited!!! Of course I'm a bit anxious, but mostly I'm just really ready and excited to meet our baby and welcome him or her into our lives. I'm definitely working on last minute things, finishing the nursery, packing, etc. I also am just really counting down to my last day or work and hoping I get to enjoy a few days of nesting before the baby arrives. T-minus 22 days til due date yay!! Can't wait to hear everyone's stories as well!
