Weddingbee boards

Here I sit, with my TV on as background noise, trying to write my portion of the wedding ceremony. I've gotta say, it's really hard to get the warm fuzzies thinking of my FH and what I will lavish upon him at our wedding when from my tv, Chris Hansen is reading portions of a lude chat log circa Predator Raw. As I recite my vows to myself, my sweet nothings are becoming laced with the tv chiming in with things like, "So, you're 15 years old? I bet your boobs are totally perky." or "How about some oral sex?" 

Clearly, it's impossible to write my vows under these circumstances, and I have to either change the channel, or turn off the tv.

What makes writing your vows impossible? What gives you mental blocks, or inhibits your ability?

I'd prefer not to write it ourselves too, but our rabbi asks us for an outline of how we want it to go... can't argue too much with it, because it's the best way to make sure we don't wind up with something we hate. ::Sigh:: it's just a pain though, because my mind fuzzes out when I'm tasking myself to focus on all this love. :) It's hard to express in words, mostly.

driving lol. when i drive i get lost in thought and then i start thinking about how much i love my fiance and have to stop to write everything down before i forget. we have pulled over several times just cus i needed to scribble on the back of an envelope lmao
