That’s really sweet!

We haven’t 100% decided, but I would love to get ours engraved. We’re thinking maybe his will say ‘always’ and mine will say ‘forever’ because we always say ‘always and forever’ to each other about our relationship :).

We’re getting new bands for our vr, since dh lost his. I think I’m going to be some version of Then, Now, Forever. I don’t think it will all fit, but I’ll shorten it somehow.

We decided to just do our initials + the date.  I love the simplicity of it.

we decided not to get them engraved, tho i’m debating adding our cityhall date since it’s nowhere near the wedding anniversary we will celebrate but is still our “legal” marriage date – important to remember for filling legal forms!

We havent finalized, we’ve got time! But I think I either want our initals and then our wedding date or something simple like that

We wanted to engrave ours with 3 words that are very significant to us and describe our relationship. FI was very excited about this and so was I, but we were told that my ring is too delicate for engraving, unless is done by hand and too expensive for what we had planned… πŸ™

Awwww that is so sweet πŸ™‚ I really want to get some derivative of “We did it we did it we did it hoary” Dora the Explorer :)LOL Seriously every time something awesome happens I sing that song so it would be perfect!

I think my band is to small to get engraved… but I’m thinking of the infinity symbol and date for his band.

We engraved our rings with our wedding date written in Roman Numerals.  We actually decided on it after being inspired by a Nautical/Greek style restaurant we ate at on our Honeymoon.  So our bands look like this:

XI.XV.MMVIII

FI is getting a ring that can’t be engraved so I’m thinking of getting his wedding day gift, a watch, engraved with PROVED.  We always do the “I love you” “I love you more” “Prove it”

My FI actually has my e-ring in the safe (I posted abt some work issues that prevent me from wearing it). He had it engraved while he has it and he refuses to tell me what it says. He also had the wedding band engraved as well and I have no clue what that says either. He is being very close-mouthed about this wedding thing…LOL

I have his wedding band engraved with “Doony loves Fat Rat”. Those are our childhood nicknames…LOL! I chose to use those names b/c you know it’s love when you are comfortable enough with each other to share the dreaded nicknames you were forced to lug through childhood.

I took it to get engraved and the jewler asked me which one of us was Fat Rat and which one was Doony? So when I picked the ring up he was like…”Fat Rat…your ring is ready..it turned out beautifully”. The customers were horrified on my behalf until we explained..ROFL!!! Too funny!!
