Hi Bees,
Tonight I am being taken to a wonderful, formal restaurant for dinner by my dear BF. But thanks to my mom, I have been daydreaming about a ring. My BF and I did go to a jewelry store, but it was more of a second-hand shop with no engagement rings... I ended up getting my finger sized because I had a ring I knew was far too large but was marked my size. They will resize it for me, and of course the original reason for us to go was to get some earrings fixed that he had purchased some months ago.
I'm 98% sure it won't happen, so I am going to try to enjoy the evening as much as possible. I am super excited to be treated like a princess today!
Anyone have any advice about NOT thinking about it?
Happy birthday! Just try to relax and think about having a great dinner with your FI! I don't have too much advice for not thinking about it...I was always terrible at that part.

Where's he taking you? I'd focus on the romantic evening at hand -- just think, this will probably be your last ever birthday with a boyfriend!!! So live it up :)

Get a stupid song that you hate in your head whenever you start thinking about it, so then you won't WANT to think about it. I do it sometimes, and it's totally stupid but it works.
It's hard not to, we're going to the perfect restaurant!
But not tacos, that was our second date (and a good one, at that!) and generally our stand by for special nights. Tonight I am being pricey though! :)

M just looks and shakes his head, he knows exactly what i am doing lol!!! we are sitting here camped out waiting for news.. i think we should enjoy smores? I will roast the marshmellows.
