Ooops! I thought I posted this in food! How do I move it?!
That is beautiful! It looks delicious. I'll flag it so a mod can move it for you.
It's crazy. That cake was supposed to feed 60 people. I had 125 at my wedding & took home the whole bottom layer, however not a single chocolate covered strawberry was left on the surface of the cake!!
great cake! I've actually never seen a layered heart cake. It looks great! And I bet it was delicious.

I didn't really share this prewedding cause I was pretty stressed with all the last minute details. Now the day has come & gone and I must say I was absolutely floored with how great it turned out. From the beginning, I wasn't really interested in having a cake that looked like a tower or a gift box: I simply wanted a delicious cake... and boy did I ever get one. When I went to the bakery I spent about 40 minutes micromanaging every inch of this cake. There must have been 5 different reference photos involved. Mr Rugbee even turned to me & said "You have opinions on things I didn't even know people could have opinions on!" It was all worth it though: My favourite part is the little strawberry bride & groom! Absolutely adorable!!
