So, I know what I want, except it completely different from what I originally wanted and it doesn’t seem to be working well together at all! I feel like parts are too fancy and parts are too low-key to use them all.
I’ve picked out my dress, and I love it love it love it! It’s a flowy tulle dress with a sweetheart neckline and removeable cap sleeves with major bead details and sparkle. It’s bordering the line between fairy garden and glam gala and elaborate church wedding. My location, however, is either a really pretty state park near us, or a small, intimate campground. Then my colors are green and purple. I want lime/bright greens and medium purples, but the only Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses I can find are in orchids and seafoams and pastels. I’m having springy flowers like purple carnations and white gerbera daisies, but I really want amnesia roses for my boquet.
Does this sound like it’s clashing? The roses and the garden flowers, the fancy dress and state park, bbq type meal with outdoor games instead of the hotel shine the dress kind of needs?
Sorry if it’s choppy, I’m doing a million things at once. Let me know your thoughts, my mom is just as undecided and Fiance has no idea what I’m talking about!

Could you show us a picture of your dress? It might help us advise you.

Is there a JC Penney near you? I found beautiful lime green/chartreuse dresses there that we are using for bridesmaids dresses. I could link you to it but they are sold out online. David’s Bridal also has some in the same type of nice bold but not crazy bold type of green. My colors are chartreuse, chocolate and purple, if you want me to send you anymore ideas.

Sorry, I was out for a bit. Um, I would post a pic of the dress, but there isn’t one online and my computer is an idiot and doesn’t realize that it has a CD drive so I can’t load a pic of it onto my computer. I never thought of using JC Penny, I’ll check that out, though ours is really, really small.

My colors are also bright green and purple. My bridesmaid’s dresses are from JCrew in clover. It’s a pretty bright green — actually looks better in person than on the computer screen.
Here’s a link to the dress: http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WeddingParties/womens/w_bridesmaids/PRDOVR~96454/96454.jsp. ’ defer=’defer; Just pick the colors on the lower right.
Good luck! I think that the park thing will be really cool!
