and already my five-year-old daughter is driving me NUTS.  We'll all be stuck inside today, tomorrow and at least Sunday, thanks to the nasty snowstorm we're getting here in D.C.  She has the attention span of a knat right now.  Just a little while ago, she interrupted my shower to ask me (for about the sixth time today) when we can start working on Valentine's cards for her class.  AND she's never been a big TV watcher, so that doesn't help.

Ahh, the whining, the drama...thanks for letting me vent.

Eek, I'm sorry! Can you set her up with some project that will busy her for a little while so you can unwind a bit?

Is she a puzzle do-er or a drawer? You can get her to draw a nice picture for Valentine's Day and colour it in or something - that could keep her busy!

LMAO - I SHOULD use her to shovel snow - wish I had a kid-sized snow shovel.  I think our shovel is bigger than her, for sure.  :-)

We've started a jigsaw puzzle, but she's lost interest in that.  She's drawing snowmen right now.  It's going to be a loooooong weekend!

    LMAO @ teaadntoast

Bundle her up really good & go play out in the snow!!! Tons of fun and that'll tucker her out with the quickness.

We had that same situation here about a week ago! Talk about LOADS of fun. (Except it wasn't quite as stressful cuz I don't have any kids to have to entertain lol). Being stuck in the house for 3 or 4 days will practically drive you insane though! We made it a movie marathon weekend. I knew the storm was coming so I rented tons of movies :)
