It's not just bridezillas who can be overly demanding…VENT.

Siblings can be the worst some times. My sister is refusing to be in my wedding if I pick out strapless dresses for the bridesmaids, which has always been my vision for my wedding.

I’m sorry she’s being a brat 🙁

Why do you still live at home if they’re such a bother? Does she live at home too?

I don’t really see this as a ‘zilla moment… Since, you know, you don’t even want to clean your room (which is pretty infantile), I can understand why your family might be concerned with the laundy and whatnot.

I don’t know what to tell you. This all is pretty childish.

Get off the computer and go help with the party and cleaning. Maybe show some initiative and responsibility and they won’t feel the need to tell you how/when/why to do things.

Jacqui90:  This was hard to do at first, but I’ve learned as I age to pick my battles. I would have just smiled at them freaking out and said, “no problem, I’ve got it under control.” Let them burn out energy yelling and worrying and you just do what you need to do.

I was also going to suggest the laundromat. These are not adult issues IMO.

Maybe it’s time to move out if you are being chided for an untidy room and there’s concern that you’d leave your wet underwear around the house during a party. That definitely would go right up my butt too.

Go to a laundromat tomorrow and then plan to move out. Sounds like it’d be a good move for you and perhaps push you further along towards your goal of being a completely independent woman someday.

Jacqui90:  Because you waited until the last minute and are doing laundry at a time that inconvenient for the rest of your family?  That would be a good reason.
