@tksjewelry: but its David Tutera! You can always retrain your fingers to type. I've seen tons of peckers (the typing style you dirty girls!) who use their forefingers for the space bar.
My kitty has done very well for herself sans opposable thumbs. ;)

Oh I love David... my fiance would never admit it, but he loves him too. It's the only wedding show I can watch where he doesn't roll his eyes or asks me to change the channel lol!

I'd give both thumbs to keep that man AWAY from my wedding. I watched the dragonfly themed wedding one yesterday and man. How that girl managed to not look skeeved out with him in her face asking her non stop if she was beautiful is beyond me.
I like the end result and how he helps folks that would have had a WEDDING DISASTER otherwise, but he makes me feel like my wedding will be terrible since it can't be that grand. DARN HIM. he is fabulous though.
@CallmeC: I'm with you on this one. I know he does a lot of that stuff for television and all, but jeeze, he creeps me out. I do like how he is able to translate women's haphazard ideas into something cohesive and beautiful, but he needs to tone down the " you are a goddess, do you feel beautiful?" stuff haha
You know, I used to love watching that show but now I don't care for it too much anymore. I think everything is just so over the top and ridiculous that it turns me off or something. I like seeing normal weddings - weddings I can relate to. Plus I would not be able to relinquish all control to him. I am too much of a control freak!

Yup. Me too. Unfortunately, he's only been casting for brides in the LA-area lately.

Oh I can't watch that show...I get so sad that he can't come and rescue my who-knows-what-clueless-me-will-end-up-with wedding!! I'd try to give up the right thumb though, instead of left...because your ring hand-shot pictures will look weird with no thumb 
I do have to say that I kinda hate the end of the show. Like when the bride & groom give that super awkward speech about David helping them. I don't think there's any problem with it! I'd thank him to high heaven, too. But it's kind of over the top what some people say. Like one girl (the one with the eating disorder--not sure if any of you saw that episode) was like "Thank you for turning me into the woman I am today." And it's like, what about your mother, father, friends, teachers, lovers, etc.?! IDK I'm torn, but I still totally love him. :)
I love watching David Tutera because most of those brides have the MOST outrageous wedding theme ideas. Im like, where in the world did they get that idea from and how is David going to make this work? I enjoy seeing the end result. And he trips me out sometimes with that sass! He speaks his mind! David needs 2 get outta LA and come to Texas and help prevent my wedding disaster!

I love, love, love David Tutera soooo much too! I was seriously considering having him help me with my wedding, somehow, some way!!! I thought hey, maybe I'll just apply to be on his show...but I don't see any dates for where I live anytime soon....so I emailed his peeps to see what it would cost....well, they never got back to me, so I googled the cost, and unfortunately the info I found said his starting rate to plan a wedding is 35k!!!!! Holy cow!!!! I can't afford that, not even close, and I don't even know anyone who can :(. So fingers crossed that he plans shows in my area so I can apply!! <3 him!!
