Unless someone is getting married on a Monday on the September boards, they’re done. It’s OUR TURN!
Is everyone ready? Both prep-wise and mentally? Are you ready to have a husband? To be a bride? To walk down the aisle?
I will hit the single digits on FRIDAY my mind just does not comprehend that after 8 1/2 years dating and a decade together I am going to marry my best friend in UNDER 2 WEEKS.
So for me, stuff left:
Making placecards (I just finished our seating plan) and getting table numbers
Make our guest book (or just buy one I like from Michaels if I don’t do it)
Pay a few more people
Buy/make out of town bags and baskets
Make sure my fiance gets his vows written!
WALK DOWN THE AISLE!!!

Ready Ready Ready!!! Can’t wait for the ceremony, for the parties, and for the Honeymoon!!!
My conversations with everyone start the same nowadays, as I’m sure for you ladies too…I just want to wear a t-shirt for the next 12 days that says:
“Yes, I am excited and a bit nervous!
All the big things are done, just the little details now!”
I love that everyone asks (and I ask the same of other brides-to-be!), but those are definitely the questions of the hour 😉
What still needs to be done:
-Go with Fiance to pick out his wedding ring
-Finalize a passage/poem for my friend to read at the ceremony
-Bring ribbon to the florist
How did October get here so fast?!

Ahhh! I would always look at the brides of each month scrambling and counting down and thinking that would never be me, but it is!!! Our month is finally here. It never felt real until the last week and now Fiance and I keep looking at each other constantly with each little realization that we will be married!

I am SOOOOO ready! I don’t have anything left to do!!! Just going to call some of the vendors to confirm, and do a waxing appt. for the honeymoon (tee-hee!), and then I am ready! Weather looks like it is going to be unusually hot (80 degrees!) but no rain, so I can deal with that!
It is crazy that I can say “By this time next week I will have been married for several days.” I think it will all happen so fast!

one week from today is honeymoon time!!!!!
I have to admit I am still a little scared, stressed and freaking about the wedding part (not in wanting to marry my FH but in the ahhh please nothing go terribly wrong!)
also I got this cold on friday and it really has kicked my butt and I don’t want to be all stuffy and snotty at my wedding!
collect all the data sheets, schedules etc and make a little bridal party/parent packet
print out the readings/ ceremony etc for the little binder I made up for the officiant
shoes for me (rehearsal dinner – I have options but I am open to something new too) and him (wedding!!! I think v necessary he doesn’t see the big deal)
new lipstick and new perfume (maybe?)
guest bag assemble (onsite w mom & aunt)
manzanita tree assembly (I have two samples I bought because I just love them but don’t really have a plan yet but thinking they will go on the card/ guestbook table or something)
get a LOT of cash out of bank … (hair & makeup final payments & tips, band final payment, DJ final payment, tips for photobooth ppl)
beauty care (waxing, mani/pedi)

I have been pretty relaxed up until the last few days and now I am stressed! I really don’t have much left to do. I’m burning cds fo the welcome boxes as I type and I need to get a frame for our seating chart poster. OH and I have to figure out final payments for everyone. Other than that I am DONE with the “to-do list.”
What I’m most stressed about now is that I will be leaving on Wednesday morning to go to Pensacola for the wedding. And we’re leaving for our honeymoon the Sunday after the wedding. So I have to be packed for the next few days leading up to the wedding, pack ALL of the wedding stuff and also pack for the honeymoon. NOT enough hours in the day!
So glad that I will be able to relax on Wednesday and Thursday, though. My mom and I will be dropping off some of the wedding items and running a few errands Tuesday and then my BMs are getting into town Thursday for a Bridesmaid’s Dinner and sleepover. Friday is pedicures and family time before the rehearsal.
Can’t wait for the fun stuff to start and these annoying details to be over!
