Okay, so I am absolutely in love with this dress and want to get it in royal blue, but I found the same image on more than one site… though the other sites look kinda shady, the one I’m linking looks okay… What should I do? I don’t need something SUPER DUPER HIGH QUALITY, and I am willing to pay for alterations if it needs a bit of work, but I don’t want to get scammed…

I’m not sure what the other sites look like. But I think the dress looks very pretty based on the link you posted! If it’s just what you’re looking for and you’re willing to get in altered if necessary, and if you consider that to be a reasonable price, then I say go for it!! 🙂

Orion: While I’ve never heard of this site, knock off sites can do ok on replicating a dress when it’s simple. The one you posted seems simple enough and there are TONS of photos of it from different sides so that should help.
I’d google the site name for reliable reviews.

What if you took it to Jasmine’s or the other reputable shop that gets really good reviews (whose name escapes me ATM?) It may cost a bit more, but I would think that the quality would be a bit better as well. It’s a lovely dress – I would be concerned, though, about the green (what appears to be) sequins on the waist applique; even in their stock photo it looks a little wonky.

Very pretty dress, especially in royal blue!!
I’d be worried about the quality of the fabric used – I don’t think the dress would be very flattering in a cheap poor quality fabric that didn’t hang right.

Hmm… How much do you bees think it would run me if I took those photos to a dressmaker and had them do it in person? That way it would be fit to me and I’d be able to manually choose the fabric…
