M and the kids went to his family's Thanksgiving celebration (most of the family was out of town on a wedding-cruise celebrating his cousin's wedding). I wasn't in the mood to go AT ALL.. sorry but I'm a grouch and not in the mood to gush over his cousin's wedding photos, rings, details, etc bleh... I'm happy for them, but today I wasn't in the mood. So I'm here at home being a grouch monster (my word for the kids and M when they are grumpy). I think I'll go ahead and start on my portion of the DIY Christmas cards so that the kids can do their portion when they get home. Oh yeah he's putting a big guilt trip on me too. His 7 year old niece called from his phone asking where I was.. She was like well where are you, I missed you and I thought you'd be here with me. Are you coming to the next feast for the family. sigh.. why does he have to use a 7 year old to do the dirty work, he's pulling out the low blows.
I am also watching Sandra Lee Celebrates and giggling about her making cocktails because No Holiday Party is complete without (Cocktails!! AZbride, I'm giggling like crazy)!!

We're sitting on the couch, me blogging and putzing around on Facebook while the hubby works on his website. We're so exciting!!! Haha.
i swear sandra lee consumes too many cocktails. why else would she think her tablescapes were ever a good idea?! lol
right now i'm watching the texas/nebraska game before my movie date with my guy. of course i'm also ignoring my accounting homework that's sitting on my desk.
@krissy sounds so "fun" btw how does it feel that you know have a hubby?!
she's actually not doing too terrible today (shocker i know) she just did the coolest lollipop wreath.. i am thinking of implementing it into a candy buffet for fun!!
@tea - LOL about sandra lee...totally agree on that one.
@crebre - OMG i love it. i feel it's very different now that we're married, but in a way I cannot really describe. funny thing is, i asked hubby if he felt different and he said "um, not really?" hahaa...
oh we also watched the alabama v. fl game.
Im at work! and the really crazy creepy environmental services guy is talking to me about sword fighting. and how thats the only sport he watches. PS-I run a lab by myself on the weekends...and i hate being alone when he is around! :(
I am watching Harry Potter with my daughter and messing around on the computer. I washed, pressed, and flat-ironed my hair earlier (getting it braided 2morrow). I WAS talking to my FI on the phone but his BF called and that was the end of our conversation...LOL
@Ms.Teddy - ugh, totes know what you mean about working with weirdos...hang in there!!
Just got home from a dinner with some people FI has been volunteering for all semester. Now we're settling in for some cuddling and tv time! :-)
I'm hanging out at home watching Life of David Gale with the dogs and a glass of wine while my husband's down at a bull riding in Colorado. Not ideal, but could be worse. Surviving the In-Law's VERY old school family portraits and throwing up some Christmas decorations was nice too.
@fifty, procrastinators unite! i have my document i'm supposed to be working from on my laptop but i haven't clicked it open yet. lol. i really don't want to do it but it needs to get done. sigh.
I'm cheering on the Huskers. We put up the Christmas tree a couple of hours ago and were going to make dinner when my FI got called in to work.
@missteddy: you should tell him that you watched a special on mase the other night and how you are incredibly fascinated with mase and stun guns :D
Watching Charles in Charge on Hulu, watching the snow fall, playing with my registries, and avoiding studying for finals :(
Well, Miss Grouch Monster, I'm tooling around online on my laptop, while the fiance is tooling on his desktop machine. He seems to be doing something involving iTunes.
Yeah, that's right - we lead a crazy exciting life :) I'm just glad he's not at work! He's been pulling nights and weekends for the past month or two.
My FI has an awards ceremony at his work. I'm just not in the mood. I'm staying in watching The Sweetest Thing and eating chocolate cookies with mint chocolate chips. Yumminess.
@lkbphmd, this is one sloppy game! it's like every time i look up there's an interception! it's hard to keep track of who has the ball!
I'm here! Just tired from cleaning out and organizing that d**m garage. I'm glad we did it though. It wasn't that disorganized, we just needed to get rid of some stuff and now we're ready for packing!
Cre- Whenever someone's grouchy around here, I say, "Oh, you have your grumpy pants on!" Haha. Sometimes you just need some alone time!
@AlmostMrsG: Yup, avoiding studying for finals! I have the med school blues. I just made a new deal with myself -- for every topic I study, I get to spend 5 minutes on weddingbee. Perfect motivator!
@tea- I know, seems like no one wants to keep possession. After finding out our neighbors heard me screaming at the tv a couple of games ago, I'm trying my hardest to stay quiet.
@ Miss Sequoia, I hear ya! Law school blues here. I have the worst case of 3L-itis, compounded by the fact that I only have two real finals this semester. Charles in Charge will help me study for Family Law, right? There's a family in it...?

Appropriately enough, the episode I'm watching is entitled "It's Saturday Night." Ha!

i'm trying to copy my wedding pix on a folder in my laptop and it ain't working! my comp. keeps crashing. ugh.
so speaking of procrastinators, i'm starting on our thank you cards tonight. hopefully they will all be done and out in the mail before the two month mark.
having a me day which means staying in stuffing my face and watching tv, first it was harry potter, now on to the incredibles..

haha crebre. sports has a habit! i was watching soccer, and i know NOTHING about soccer, and i'm screaming when they don't get a goal. lol.
so much for the not screaming at the television......at least I almost made it to halftime!
Just lounding around at home with my fiance. He's still a little feverish. I'm so full though...at wayyy to much. :(

Good evening!!! For my fathers bday I made him dinner: Beef tenderloin stuffed with dressing + au jus and homemade baked mac n cheese!!!!!! It was quite an acomplishment ... I'm learning to cook! Everyone loved it and of course my dad + H critiqued me and rated everything ... is that normal? Lol. They always give me a review - as they are my critics =)
I'm laying in bed and watching Deck the Halls - love this cheesy holiday movie.
@crebre80 lol thats funny because Teddy just bought me some Mase the other day...with my luck i would end up spraying myself instead of creepy guy!
@ SunnyDeb GO TIGERS! That is where Teddy is right now...in Tampa...he went to Clemson! he will be really grumpy if they loose!!
We are just hanging out at home tonight. I'm supposed to be working on some finals projects, but cuddling on the couch while FI watches football is how I'm spending my evening! And we're enjoying the cooler Florida weather- any chance FI gets to use the fireplace he does!
