I’m confused, frustrated, and excited all together.  2011 was an extremely rough year for us due to personal problems with his parents.  2012 is starting to look up, but I’m afraid of the false promises again.  I don’t want to get too much in details.  I’ll just have to hope for the best.

My wedding is coming up a lot sooner than yours, so I had this semi epiphany about a month ago when we got all the bridesmaids dresses. I’ve been having this epiphany a lot recently as well because all the little details really solidify it. FH got his wedding ring today and he had it on…seeing him with a ring on…it was just BIZARRE. It made it really…real!! 🙂

I had this happen a few months ago… I felt like I was ahead of the game… things were falling into place easily and everything was roses and glitter. That was all the major contracts/ the rings/ the bridal party things/ the decor… Then fast forward to now and I’m a mess I feel like I’m running out of time, things aren’t coming together like they should and I am a wreck. That’s from all the small details, knowing I have to make a thousand lists, getting the small things together, the other parties, the DIY projects  I have to balance with work- my son and getting my house back in order while somehow spending time outside to get a nice glow for the wedding, and the list could go on and on.  I am ready for the honeymoon- kind of… lol

For me it’s a little scary, but also exciting!  In the last month we got almost all the big checks done.  The only big ones left are booking the church and figuring out what Fiance will wear, everthing else is details and saving, saving, saving!

With each step, it just feels more and more like im getting married

Right now I have prety much nothing to do for my May wedding.

Venues booked, officiant, dress ordered, Fiance owns his tux, geting RSVPs back, etc, etc.

I need to find shoes and a thing to tie our rings to for the ring warming. I think I’m worrying about seating for the reception purely to have something to worry about because its not possible to make a seatting chart until you know who is coming.
