Very similarly to how you are feeling; excited but sort of overwhelmed! There is still so much to do! We are going to mail out our STDs next week, and I hopefully will get in touch with some JOPs for our ceremony.
@rachaelrobin - Yay for sending STD's! We sent ours out a few weeks ago. It's so exciting to hear people getting excited for it! I hope these next few months fly by for all of us and that we all find plenty of time to get everything finished!
I know right! We've sent out most of our STDs (still waiting on people who haven't sent their addresses). I am preparing to take my bridal pics on the 31st. It is funny because when I talked to a videographer and told him my date he said "I haven't started booking that far in advance". LOL Then he looked at his calender and realized that it was less than 6 months away. Plus my LDR will end in a couple of weeks.
I know I am getting excited but then I am like OMG time to actually make decisions and not just dream up random ideas!! We have sent out our STD's a few months ago, mainly because most of our guests will be coming internationally, and I have printed out the invites and am just waiting to be able to mail them out!!
When I realize it is less than 6 months, that means it is 5 months and however many days!!!! HOLY COW! 5 MONTHS!!! That is soon! It is so refreshing when we started with a 15 month engagement! We are working on getting all the little details done! I will be excited when we are done booking things! We still have to rent chair covers and book the limo. Everything else is already booked! When those are done then its time to have fun crafting my little heart out!
Also, it means really soon my FI and I get to start looking at and picking out apartments for us to move into! YAY! So glad the count is getting lower.
Is it just me or are the days just flying by? I feel like we were at 200 days yesterday but I look at my counter today at I am at 176!! 100 days will be here before we know it ladies!
@truegem - Yay for LDR ending & bridals! :)
@bohemian- I know what you mean. Up until now, I've just been dreaming up random ideas but not officially deciding on things & that has to stop now lol. I have to make some decisions!
@TPtoBee- We started with a 14 month engagement also so I can definitely relate to how you feel? Where the heck have the last 9 months gone?! Haha. I'm so excited though. Can't wait for 100 days to get here!
Yes very much time to get serious, we are staying at my FIL in Sweden right now and I keep having nightmares that we have no center pieces and the invitations never went out since I can only talk about stuff and not do anything till we are home in August!!

"It's really getting close!!" from people when the conversation of my wedding coming up!! It sounds so much better than "Oh, you've got plenty of time!"
I love looking at my little countdown and seeing 5 months & 3 weeks :D But at the same time, I'm actually starting to get a little scared! Not that I'm having any doubts or anything, there's just SO much left to do!
