It's time to call our Reverend, and I'm really nervous!

RhianfaHW:  Honestly, he will most likely be lovely and understanding! Me and FI live together, and they were fine with that (think they accept it as a sign of the times!). We’re in a similar situation to you as non-church going Christians, with me more so than FI.

Good luck, and relax! He’ll be used to people calling, and it’s a happy occassion!

RhianfaHW:  Eek such exciting times!! Well done for biting the bullet! 🙂

I hope you enjoy every second of organising the wedding! Do you have any idea when you would like to get married yet, or still deciding?

RhianfaHW:  are you in the UK? Your name looks Welsh lol 🙂 if it makes you feel better, the Church of England’s default position on its website is to post documents to a single address, ie they seem to assume couples will be living together nowadays. Even if you’re not having a CofE wedding I am sure you will be fine. Our vicar never even mentioned this other than to confirm our address 🙂

If it makes you feel better, DH and I were so worried about this. So much so that we did all of the church paperwork way early (we are Catholic), before we moved in. I slipped up and mailed the priest a Christmas card from our new address.  He returned a card (to both of us) at the new address.  The next time wr met up with him, the Christmas card was in the file. He updated our addresses and never said a word. He didn’t care. Our parents did, but it was not an issue for him at all.
