Yesterday, it 110 where I live, but I was off work & we have A/C.  Bless those of you that don’t!  Today the high is “only” supposed to be 104, but my job only has swamp coolers which makes for a hot mess really :/.  Have a wedding in this heat? ..no thank you!!

@iarebridezilla:  We were apartment hunting yesterday. We’re moving from the beach to the Valley and I swear it’s like a 30 degree difference 🙁 SO tried to hold my hand while we walked through one building and I said “NO! It’s too hot to be near you.” So mean but shit man… it was HOT. He offered to buy me a snow cone from this place we drove by but when I realized it wasn’t drive-through and there was a line I refused and we bought horrible frozen things from McD’s instead. It was basically lemon-flavore diabetis in a cup… but it was cold and that’s all I cared about.

Thank goodness DH and I live by the beach. We visited family on Saturday, and they live in the IE… it was around 104 ou there. SO gross. WE flip out when it’s 78 in our apartment. We used the AC a little this weekend, but we both have little fans by the bed to help with the heat.

Makes sexy times hard to come by. 🙁

@iarebridezilla:  Oh man… your preggo belly reminded me of my mom 8 months pregnant with my sister in August. Our house didn’t have central air and one weekend mom just FLIPPED OUT. She called someone to come finish installing the AC and then made my dad rent a room at the motel on the corner. I just remember that the manager was taking a little too long to take the payment so mom snatched the key and took me to the room while dad paid. I hadn’t even closed the door before she was ripping off her clothes while simultaniously turning the a/c on full blast. By the time dad got up to the room, mom was completely naked laying in front of the a/c and I was sitting on the floor watching cable. 🙂 It was a pretty awesome week for me, swimming at the motel up the street from my house. LOL

It has been horrible down here in Portland as well…this time last year it was about 60 and raining, now it is 92+ with humidity…no thanks.  There will not even be relief until the middle of the week.  We (like most people in Oregon) don’t have AC and I was just icky all day.  We did our best to stay out of the apartment, we went to a movie, hung out in mall, got ice cream, but as soon as we got back home…bam! heat.

@iarebridezilla:  Seriously. We got to do it Sat night, but it was around midnight, when the weather was cooler, and our AC had been blasting. 😛

I feel for you!  I live in Portland and these past few days have been brutal.  We have an AC unit (window type) but haven’t yet dragged it upstairs from the garage.  It’s definitely popsicle season!  I also want to add I know how you feel as I was preggers (same stage as you) during the summertime.  Unfortunately for me, I lived in central California where it can get up to 120, for months on end.  Ugh.  Don’t forget your liquids!

I live up near Sacramento, California and it’s been over 100 the past few days.  Today it’s supposed to be 111–it was 80 when I was driving to work at 7:30AM.  And apparently its supposed to be like this all week.  I HATE IT!!!!

Can you use a fan if you don’t have a/c? I can tolerate a LOT hotter temps if there is a fan pointed right at me!

We are such babies with heat in the PNW!  My FI and I dragged two chairs into our garage last night because that’s the only place in our house where it didn’t feel like death.  Ugh.  The temp really never needs to go over like, 78 here…when it gets over 80 it really is pushing it, and over 90 is just so not cool (no pun intended…).
