Dad gave me some money to spend on wedding-related stuff – because i haven’t been able to work for the better part of the past two months because of health issues and I’m on the verge of resigning in the next two weeks, Dad has been an absolute miracle worker. So generous and I’m so grateful.
I’ve had my eye on these things for ages now so it was really fun to go ahead and order!
What have you been picking up from Etsy?
Guestbook from Lorgie https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/lorgie?ref=l2-shopheader-name
Navy binder colour, black paper, doing “Mr & Mrs Wood” in the same font as we’re using for other wedding stuff.
“Home is where the heart is” – Australia & New Zealand, with hearts on Auckland & Melbourne. Gone with light blue and a coral heart, not positive about the colours but I’ll wait to see the proof.
Flower girl dress!!!!! https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/162711579/the-original-olivia-pink-flower-girl?ref=listing-shop-header-1 for my cutie patootie almost four-year-old niece 🙂

I LOVE etsy!! A few months ago I posted pics of our signage and our ‘guest book’ which is a vintage suitcase with wish cards. I also bought my garter & necklace, & all of our wedding attendants gifts (except my MOH’s).
I still have more to buy 😉 I will also be getting my daughters’ flower girl dresses from Etsy.
ETA: All your purchases are soooo cute! I’m such a fan of those personal touches 🙂

@foxtrot: Hahahaha I can totally see that happening to me if I’m not careful. I’d definitely be in that position if I was spending my own money. Since it’s from Dad, I’m trying to be careful 😛

@goingtotherooftopoflove: it’s funny.. Every time I pick up the tablet, Fi gives me the same look. “Crap, she’s either on etsy or that random wedding bug website…”

Yay my prints have shipped already! She’s promised “All giclée original prints by Lily Gene are high-quality, eco-friendly, acid-free fine art paper. Printed with professional archival pigment ink.” so I can’t wait to see how it looks and whether it looks any different to just a normal print 😉
Hopefully going with the two backing colours will look OK.
I’m planning on using these frames from Ikea, I have one at home already and they’re my favourites
