Excited To Bee :  Yay for starting so soon! I chose to avoid sugar and alcohol during my stims, partially because I heard that IVF success rates are better with a low-carb diet, and mostly because I had some weight to lose following the holiday season.  With that being said, I am a proponent of everything in moderation and I don’t see any issue with having a nice dinner and a drink here and there.

And thank you for the vitex tip! I’ll look into it when I (hopefully!) eventually get the go ahead for FET.

Excited To Bee :  I didn’t do anything different during my FET protocol.  I did avoid alcohol after transfer.  I tried not to over do anything but I literally had everything go wrong and still ended up with a BFP so far so who knows.  I think the most important thing for me to avoid is stress so I did that.

BeeBlake :  sure ! I had mine done in November. Exploratory lap with HSG. He made a small incision in my belly button and one on my c section scar. It was less than an hour. He found some mild endo sticking my right tube to my ovary and some on top of my bladder. He removed both with cautery. I was discharged that day and then home for another few days for recovery. I was a little bloated from the gas they use to inflate your abdomen but didn’t really have any shoulder pain like they predicted. He said my tubes were clear but the right one may have had some issues because it was stuck so it may help my fertility potential.

niki1983 :  I don’t have cramps, but the dizzy/nausea/hot flashes happened during STIMS and now again with Lupron. I wake up with horrible headaches too. Hopefully the other ladies will have some better info for you ❤️

niki1983 :  I’ve had hot flashes and weird stomach since 4dp5dt.  Not sure if its pregnancy related or just the Progesterone and estrace.

AFM – I got my second beta results.  132.6 – 10dp5dt and 493.9 – 13dp5dt (today).  I’m so excited.  We told our parents last night.  They are excited.  Our ultrasound is scheduled for next Monday (20dp5dt).  I’m hoping we see a gestational sac or yoke sac or something.

I am starting IVF next cycle. DH and I are trying to decide if we should do PGS. Back story- We are using DHs banked sperm  He is a cancer surviovor. Good counts in banked sperm and no known fertility issues on my side. RE said we do not need to do PGS but let us know it is an option. Basically she thinks there is a good chance we may have several embryos and this will help them select the best one.  I know it is more expensive but we had several failed IUIs, so I want to do what I can to make this successful!! We are just wondering if it is worth it in our case? I was just wondering if any of you have expereince on deciding this or any additiaonl info! So many decisions!! I will be 31 next month if that helps. Thanks bees and I appreciate any advice!!
