buzzy1029:  Hmmm, he can’t wear his blues?  Is it a seasonal thing?

My ex wore his blues to my cousin’s wedding in August, but we were just guests.

buzzy1029:  And when I say seasonal thing, I don’t mean comfort.  I mean is it military dictated or decorum to wear certain uniforms at certain times of the year?  And if it’s a comfort thing, how about blues for the ceremony and a tux/suit for reception?

buzzy1029:  I think if your groom and the majority of the groomsmen will be in light colored dress uniforms as well, it might be nice to have the bridesmaids in navy for some contrast.

buzzy1029:  Jeez!  That’s why I questioned it.  My ex wore his blues to a wedding in August down south, so he was uncomfortable for a bit, but I didn’t think he wasn’t allowed!!

Then again, I don’t even know if the Marines knew he was where he was that weekend!!  It was a very good look, though.  And unfortunately, much easier to match to ivory.

In that case, the bridesmaids should most definitely wear navy, IMO.  Try David’s Bridal Horizon, Marine and Navy.  The first one is more of a royal blue, but it’s pretty none the less.

Sorry…I’m MOST unhelpful LOL!!!

Can’t wait to see your pictures.   So jealous!  My Love is an Annapolis Graduate.   I never got to see him in any of his uniforms.

I know these were not in your listed colors, but a contrasting color like raspberry or kelly green would really pop.  Alternatively, blush looks lovely with navy and it could read almost like a neutral.

I vote for marine blue from davids bridal. It is a navy.
