So, basically forever, I have envisioned bright white flowers. But my dress…is a bit ivory and I feel like it won’t look very good. I’m strongly opposed to pink, but don’t hate peach. But that color was never in the color scheme and don’t want them to look out of place. I’m DIYing flowers and want to keep everything pretty simple.
also if you have photos either inspirational or real life, post please!

MissOtter: I was concerned about this as well, because I’ve seen photos of white flowers that have an almost greenish cast to them that have not looked particularly nice against a white or ivory gown.
My gown was considered to be “diamond white,” which, essentially, was a creamy, light (not yellowish or dark) ivory. I carried a bouquet of white peonies, and it looked very nice with my dress.

MissOtter: What is your color scheme?
I’m having the same debate. Our colors are creams and tans with splashes of brown, but the flowers will be lavender and cream because I don’t like all white flowers (they die too quick) and I don’t think it will look or of place. I think it’ll be a nice contrast to our otherwise very neutral pallet.
Flowers do marvelously when they don’t quite match the rest of the colors. My cousin had pale pinks and creams, but the rest of the color scheme was tiffany blue and black. It looked lovely.
