I would say order it in cream. So it will match. I don't think it will look dirty.
I say Cream. The white would be an awkward contrast, in my opinion. You and your dress should stand out - not your shrug!
Cheers!
I say order them both and then return the one you don't like :) Kinda of a hassle - but with only two weeks to go - it'll ensure you're happy and don't second guess your decision.
I'm thinking the cream will look best though.
i recommend ivory - white accessories are just so harsh!! this was recommended to me by several bridal salon consultants.
order both - the cream could clash just as much as the white, it depends on how ivory your dress is. mine was just slightly off-white and our tux guy tried to make us get ivory shirts because otherwise my dress would look dirty - hideous!!! at the time i agreed and then the more i thought about it the worse it sounded - and the white looked great w/ my gown. granted it really was so slightly off-white you could hardly tell it was, but it was def not glaringly white.

I'm wearing this ivory gown (Watters 9043B) to my wedding in less than 2 weeks (yes, yes--last-minute jumble, and all that!). I decided on this dress because it fit and I found a great deal too good to miss--only a fraction of the other dresses I was considering! Question is: I want to order this faux fur shrug (that Mrs. Butterfly had worn) so I'm not freezing my pretty little behind in the chapel. Do I order it in cream, or in white? I've ordered shoes in white, but no one will really see them. I can't tell if a cream shrug will make the shrug look dirty...or if a white shrug will make the dress look dirty. Of course, this is all sight-unseen, as I don't have time to hunt down a physical sample to which I can compare swatches. Anyone have experience with this? Am I over thinking this?
Most importantly, I'm hiring a great professional photographer, and I don't want to look like an uncoordinated idiot in my wedding photos! I guess if it really looks bad, he can photoshop everything to match, right?
