@weddinglr: Does the gown come in two colors or three? I am asking, because diamond white is normally a light ivory, not a bright white. If the diamond white feels too white or pale for you, then I'd go with the ivory. If the ivory is a yellowish or dark ivory, I probably wouldn't suggest that unless you're one of those people who looks amazing in dark ivory (and there certainly are women who do.)
You absolutley can wear silvery bling with any of those colors. I wore diamond white (which, for my designer, was light ivory), and all of my accessories had Swarovski cyrstals set in silver or a silver-toned metal.
While diamond white is lovely it is still (IMHO) still too white for my liking. I opted for Alabaster which is a similar color ivory and I think it is much more flattering for my skin tone.
Can you post a photo of you, you in the dress or something to give us an idea of your skin tone to make the best suggestion?
The dress comes in White, Diamond White, and Ivory. Here is a picture of me wearing the dress in Diamond White. They wouldn't let me take a picture at the picture that had it in Ivory.
@weddinglr: To me that is still pretty white. I personally like the ivory (which is the color shown on the Maggie website).
And this is me in a ivory gown from a different designer (and different lighting)
I agree with @Treejewel19:. That is still pretty white. If your biggest concern is what your gown will look like next to other white dresses, I would not let that be a concern. No one else at your wedding should be wearing white or off-white, so your gown should be the lightest fabric there. (I'm sure you've already thought about the fact that all other light-toned fabrics such as your flower girl's dress and your table linens should not be bright white if you select an ivory dress. And, of course, your veil and all of your other bridal accessories that you intend to match your dress should then be ordered in ivory.)
If you and your mom and your MOH all love you in the ivory, go for the ivory.
They are both beautiful, but to be honest I think the Ivory will look the best on you! :)
I have similar hair and skin tone as you and I went with the ivory for my Maggie. I had the same issues deciding but after looking at a million pictures of other brides to reconfirm my decision, I realized that the diamond white would really wash me out AND that it looks really light in pictures anyway. I didn't want it to look yellowy either. I also have pewter detail and i got lots of silver blingy jewlery!!!
I personally don't like white or diamond white wedding gowns and only tried on ivory. I just think it is really close to white but makes the dress look a lil more expensive (maybe it's all in my head)
To be honest I think you look amazing in the diamond white. I believe it compliments your skin tone beautifully. The choice is yours, though. Good luck!
I bought the Alandra in ivory and it's beautiful! Diamond white looks very bright in pictures :/ the ivory won't look yellowish, especially since you'll be the only one in white! Good luck =)

I'm ordering the Maggie Sottero Alandra, but now i'm starting to have second thoughts on the color. I tried on ivory in the dress originally and tried on ivory dresses all day and loved the color. When i tried on the dress a second time at a different store, the sample was diamond white and I liked that too. Looking back on pictures however, it looks SO BRIGHT! I think ivory looks better on my skin tone. I tried on the dress in Ivory again today, but now I think it looks yellow next to other dresses. All of my coworkers say I should go with white and my mom and MOH says Ivory. Also, can I wear silver blingy jewelry with Ivory because I want that too! Sorry for the ramble, but I'm SO confused!
