i recently purchased my wedding dress – champagne slip w ivory lace overlay. I chose champagne because it made the ivory lace more pronounced and the detail pop! But now Im having a hard time determining the groom/groomsmen color. I wanted light gray or dark gray but Im having a hard time finding pictures to help me visualize. Any help?
I just dont want to look like I clash w my future hubby!
Thoughts/pictures would be much appreciated.
Ps. The bridesmaids are wearing royal blue!

Grey and ivory/champagne definitely don’t clash! I think it looks nice together, since they’re both neutrals. I think blue looks really good with gray and ivory. If you need more convincing…

I’m doing a darker ivory dress and bridesmaids colors are champagne. We’re definitely going with BLACK tuxes and white ties. I think the stark difference will be beautiful and classy.

I would probably do black tuxes, with white shirts, and maybe give your fiance an ivory tie. I really don’t care for the look of ivory and gray.

Don’t do gray! My dress is an ivory/champagne thing and the colors clash. Black and white on the men will look so very classy. To me, the pics that pp put up of the gray, ivory, and blue shows off the bridesmaids more than the bride and groom. Too much going on in my opinion. I looked at the bride last. Also, those dresses look more white than ivory/champagne.

Ivory/champagne/black/grey all are neutrals. They all go with everything. Black is high contrast, grey is low contrast, a softer look, and charcoal is right in the middle.
The one thing I would suggest is don’t listen to employees who tell you the groom or groomsmen should wear an ivory shirt. They will try to tell you that a white shirt will make your dress look dingy, but that is simply not true. An ivory shirt will make the groom look dingy.
