@dihy:  How important are the earrings to you? Perhaps you could incorporate the bracelet in another way (wrapped around your bouquet?) if you have your heart set on your gold tiara. It all depends on what suits you best (yellow gold looks shocking on me so I have silver accessories) 🙂

I would go with the meaningful jewelry and get another hair accessorie that coordinates better.

@dihy:  Oh my no no no! What I mean is yellow gold just doesn’t suit me (especially my skin tone) so I had no real option but to go with silver!! I know lots of people don’t seem to like mixing metals, which seems to be your query here, which is why I suggested incorporating the bracelet in a different way so that you can coordinate with your tiara. I love the look of Ivory and Gold, it look so warm and creamy, but it all really depends on the overall look you’re going for. It’s hard without pictures for reference. Sorry for any misunderstanding 🙂

I would stick with gold jewelry for an ivory gown, but if you want to use those antique “old” pieces then switch

I think I would try and match my accessories to my engagement and wedding ring (white gold in my case). However I think that the meaningful pieces would also be lovely, I’m wearing my great-grandmothers tiara (white gold and diamonds) that my grandmother and my own mother have worn for their weddings. Suppose I better carry on the tradition, they are diamonds after all!

I say wear what looks best on you. I stick with yellow gold because I don’t like the way silver tones look around my face.

I would just mix and match.

Other: use what you have and what is meaningful to you. Mixing metals is totally okay. I have an ivory dress, silver/pearl necklace, pearl earrings, a silver earrings for my tragus, yellow gold bracelets, white gold wedding set, a yellow gold clutch, and gold slippers to change into.

I think you could wear both, unless the tiara is really gold coloured. If the tiara is very gold coloured and you can really see the yellow, you could probably get the tiara painted silver

@dihy:  You’re welcome! How about having your MOH wear the bracelet?
