Hey, girls who had J. Crew bridesmaid dresses-can you post the actual photos? I’m looking to see what the fabrics look like on real people.
Also-did you use a discount for them? How much did you get off? I’ve seen codes between 15%-30% off since I started looking.
Thank you in advance!

I wore one last year that I don’t think they sell anymore. The positives were that the pricepoint was budget-friendly and the design was classy. They also photographed nicely while standing still, but when we moved the material became a lot less pretty…and well, really emphasized the crotch! I’m not comfortable posting a photo of someone else’s wedding on here, but if you message me with your email I’m happy to send 🙂

@cavespringbride: Did you have the taffeta dresses? I can see that fabric being a lot less forgiving than the chiffon.

My bridesmaids were all different sizes and wore mismatched J. Crew dresses – here’s a bunch of photos of them with their dresses:

@mrs-evans: I had my BM’s get theirs in August of 2011 ffor my June 2012 wedding. They were in sale for $99.99. They wore the Arabella dress is Mosaic Blue. However, I was really disappointed in how they held up. At the end of the night, the pleats in the dresses were flat and they ALL stretched so much that by the time we got to the reception, they had to hold their dresses up because they we re falling off of their boobs even with boob tape. Regardless, they looked great and thankfully they didnt cost an absurd amount of money. I also bought one for my honeymoon, but I never wore it.

@mrs-evans: Ive worn a few for different weddings. They are really nice, great for returns if there are sizing issuses but their size charts are dead on for me. I also own some just for regular wear and find most of them very flattering in cut and fabric. I dont like the chiffon the most but the rest are great. I emailed them for more measurements too for dimension to the waist and hem to determine which hit me just right, they are really helpful. They have a good number of coupons and sales, some great ones in early fall for bridesmaid dresses.

Thanks girls, I really appreciate the opinions!
Has anyone used the cotton cady dresses? Or a mixture of the different fabrics on different girls?
