never seen it. it might be hot on the high fashion runway or something. It sounds kind of weird to me.
yeah i don't think that sounds too haute to me... but it would be quite avante garde, if you're very fashion forward that could work.
UM I HAVE SEEN THIS AND ITS GORGEOUS!!!!! LIKE, SERIOUSLY GORGEOUS. I WILL BE BACK---I"M GONNA GO FIND A PICTURE OF THE ONE I SAW AT MY BRIDAL SALON. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS TREND!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for bringing it up
do you mean that it extends in to a train? I have never seen one (if we thinking of the same thing...) but I really want one!
Ok, I really wanted to wear one of these, but they don't go with my already busy dress. I like them so much that I almost wish I got a plain dress so I could wear one! I love how different they are. This one is all gold/cream shell-like sleeves with a full cathedral length "veil" back. Enzoani Bridal puts it out and they have a few others. It's not for everyone, but I think it's great!
Huh. I don't really know what to think. It's like a surprise when she turns around.
What an unusual yet flattering concept. Thanks for sharing!
I tried the other one on, not this one. For some reason, I think they'd be especially gorgeous for a winter wedding.
Personally I think it looks a bit ridiculous, but to each their own.
I thought these sounded like the dumbest thing ever, but then once I saw them I think they look great! (totally not what I was picturing btw- which is the dumbest looking thing ever lol). what a cool idea though!!
I think it looks pretty cool. It wouldn't work for the look I'm going for, but it would be a great alternative for someone else.
I thought it would look funny but it doesn't.
i LOVE them and think they are GORGEOUS!!!! I totally would have done something like that! I've seen it before, but never in person!! i hope someone does this so I can see it on a real bride!
I love it!! When first reading I didn't think that I would. Very pretty!
Yes! That must be it. The salon carries Enzoani and I saw the shell beaded one, but I tried one on with crystals & beading. It was definitely unusual, but as a bolero it was cute.
It was slightly too much business in the front & party in the back though...
It's gorgeous! I kinda want to untie the back thingy tho, that looks like someone did it just to get it out of the way.
I'm going to go make one now :)
It sure isn't weird or a modern invention as it was actually used during the Edwardian time!
totally was not what i was picturing!!! i really think it's pretty!!
Wow, I've never seen this before but this is pretty!!!!!!!!!!!
lmao @ cre...I wasn't picturing that either and they are quite beautiful.
Those are so cool! The irst one with the flowered sleeves is gorgeous.
I had never seen these before and I was picturing some kind of hood veil thing that had sleeves--not pretty! I actually think the real jacket veils are gorgeous!
wow very different and kind of... boudoir. like an old fashioned holly wood dressing gown. very very unique!
I love this idea. I think I am going to try to make one. It will be a while before I have time, with all the other DIY stuff I have to do, but I will post a picture, when I get to that point.
Oh yeah! that seems like it would be a great DIY project, with different kinds of fabrics and everything!

At a bridal shop this weekend, they had me try on what they called a hot new trend, a tulle bolero jacket that extended to cathedral length and was meant to be used in place of a veil.
I tried googling it to see if I could find actual pictures of brides wearing one, but I came up empty. Has anyone worn one of these or seen them anywhere? I'd love to see pics.
thx!
