Hello everyone!  I am recently engaged and looking around for a venue.  We have not set a date yet, and are very flexible but probably looking at about a year from now.  We want a more intimate feel, and are only looking at a total party size of about 75-100.  Please let me know if you have any suggetions or advice about a specific venue.  I found some venues allow you to provide your own alcohol and food, which could really be good for the budget, but not essential.  Thank you in advance :)

I love the The Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island, Casa Monica in St. Aug, Epping Forest in Jax.

We are using The Ribault Club in Amelia Island. Great venue for that size.

I'm using the Ribault Club as well, we're having a little over 100. The Oldest House in St. Augustine is a great spot too.

We're using the Casa Monica. It is a beautiful site and we're having about 100 people.I highly recommend it, they have been wonderful and very helpful.

But you can also look into the oldest house, the white room, the fountain of youth, i believe they do weddings at the St. Augustine lighthouse as well.

    hope that helps! :)

If you're looking for a less expensive option, try the San Marco Preservation Hall in Jax. It only seats 80, but is lovely.

Also, Le Jardin on Park in Jax offers good options. Very cool house, up to 150.

Serenata Beach Club was nice, but they literally cleared the place out at 11 (including throwing my bag on the floor of the bar, b/c I'd left it in the dining room to send off the bride and groom)

Before deciding to have our wedding in PA, we were going to have our Reception at A1A Ale Works.  I don't know how formal a venue you are seeking, but they have a really cute party room that looks out to the water.  The food there is fabulous.

We are using the MajesticRoom (themajesticroom.com) it holds up to 150 and is a mile from jax beach.  We're on a limited budget so its a great option. They are providing the tables and linens and are letting us do all the catering.
