We're trying to have our wedding at the Jacksonville Zoo. It has a few different areas for the wedding to be held and its gorgeous. It'd also be pretty unique for your guests.
How about St. Augustine--like OC White's? (I'll admit, I'm very partial to Auggy--I got married at Cedar House inn 2 days ago!)

We're having our reception at the Embassy Suites, but I know a lot of couples choose to have their ceremonies in the atrium among the tropical and flowering plants. When I worked there (nope, they didn't give me a deal for my reception, darn it!) three or so years ago, I'd love to watch the weddings from the front desk, and it was so sweet to see the hotel guests lean over their balconies on all the different floors to watch the ceremonies in progress. It's a great location for out of towners from up north, because even in the winter you're surrounded by beautiful plants and a tropical atmosphere. We chose it to give the Canadians coming down a taste of Florida, even in February.
If I wasn't already getting married at San Marco Preservation Hall with reception at the Haskell Building, I would definitely pick Nocatee's Crosswater Hall at Ponte Vedra Beach. http://nocatee.com/recreation/crosswater-hall.aspx
I love this setting. It is a must see! If San Marco wasn't so far away from the beach I'd have the reception there, but even in the winter you can get married by the pool or out on the lawn.

I'm planning on a winter wedding in the greater Jacksonville area and would greatly appreciate venue suggestions. I'm looking for a space that will accomodate up to about 80 people and I'd love to have my wedding at a unique location that doesn't look like every other banquet hall, if at all possible. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may be able to offer!
