So…It’m trying to pic flowers for my Jamaica wedding and its proving to be more difficult than I thought! My colors are fuchsia and orange, and I’m going for a tropical, laid back vibe. I love peonies and other lush big bloom flowers like ranuculus, but peonies are not in sason in February and I don’t want to have anything imported. I was thinking about going with native carribean flowers, but I can’t find any good pics.
So, Jamaican brides: do you have pics of your flowers? Bouquets and other decorations would be sooo helpful! xoxo!

No bees that got married in Jamaica want to show off their flowers? I’m dying for inspiration over here!

I will i will! 🙂 I can’t tell you the names of the flowers, sorry. I let my florist do it all for me with a few key words of inspiration.

You would probably have good luck with ginger flowers and orchids. We were just down there for our honeymoon and were blown away by the flowers there.

I’m not going to Jamaica, but I will be in the Caribbean. I’m going with a bouquet of lilies and orchids, all different colors. I especially like it because it has stargazer lilies, one of my favorites!
@melissabegins: Such beautiful flowers!

Thanks you guys!
@melissabegins & deepbluediver- your flowers are beautiful!
@melissabegns- I wish I had a florist! I have to email pics of flowers that I like to my planner and she deals with the florist, but I find her taste to be questionable…oh well, she came with the wedding package! We also looked at the Rockhouse Inn and Rick’s, but decided to keep it in Montego since my grandfather owns a villa there. I love Negril though, the beaches can’t be beat!

Oh man! How exciting that your grandfather has a villa there. That would be so great! Maybe someday for us 🙂
